Question about RCA Scenium D40W20 40" Rear Projection HDTV
The picture is good but when i change the channel or have a black screen with no input, i have blue des, i opened the back of the tv, found very dusty bulbs, cleaned them, removed the dust , the picture was very clear after that, i just don't remember ever having the blue sides on my screen. my set is approximately 5 years old and there has been alot of gaming on it. i never noticed this problem until our x box 360 burned up. any idea of this problem or solution
Well what may have happened is a bad thing, See if you can find some way of displaying a totaly white pix, and have this full size filling the entire screen. If the side bars are still there this means the CRT's are burned and this is a perminate thing, The fix would be to change the CRT's mabe just the green and the red but they still run about $285.00 each. This was cause by having the set run in a format that DOES NOT fill the entire screen
