You should show the photos in playback mode in the ipod. No picture by picture (manually) else playback photos in automatic mode for see it in the LCD.

I am trying to playback videos on my JVC Everio Camcorder using the colored AV cords. I hear the audio coming through my TV but there is no video/picture. I have tried adjusting the settings and tried...

First, set [SWITCH TO ANALOG I/O] to [OUTPUT]
then turn off the (camcorder) unit.

After you connect the cable (from AV connector to the TV's AV Input Connector (accepting the 3 color cables), set the TV to VIDEO mode, selecting the AV input (from your Camcorder).
Then start your playback on the camcorder ...
slide the mode switch to select the (video) mode (instead of the picture/photo mode)... press the PLAY/REC to select the playback mode, and select the desired files/frames to play.

Hope this works for you. Have you tried using the HDMI mini connector instead ? (same process, just set your TV to accept input from the HDMI input)

I plugged my optoma projector into my video ipod. It's not working. The light is on. All I see is a blue screen. The movie is playing on my ipod--but not through the projector. Please Help!

Here is a link to a webpage that gives you a detailed explanation with pictures. Although it describes how to hook up the ipod to a TV, it is exactly the same for a projector. More than likely from your description you already have the wires, so you need to enable the video settings.
Setting up your iPod video options lets you control how you export video. The iPod Video Options screen selects how your iPod handles video file playback.
To open these settings, choose Videos -> Video Settings from your main iPod menu. This screen offers three settings: TV Out, TV Signal and Widescreen. Adjust to produce the video playback style you need.
Use this setting to choose from:
  • No. Playback remains on the iPod itself.
  • Yes. A TV signal is produced.
  • Ask. The iPod prompts you whenever you play a video file.

Cannot connect my ipod touch

You need to press the [pcon] button while in the iPod mode of the TV. Then use the Touch to select the file you want to playback. It will playback on the TV. Ensure the iPod is set to output video to TV.

Tv shows on my ipod

Hi,
I think that when you down load the videos onto your ipod, you are using your iPod as a disk drive. They are on the drive just not where you can see them or view them.

When you do an import in iTunes, you tell iTunes where the videos are and tell iTunes to import the file or folder. You should be using the video tab in iTunes when you do an import. The videos should show up in your video list in iTunes. You then need to tell iTunes to sync your videos. You should then be able to see your shows on your iPod after the syncing is done. Hope that helps.

How to use ipod to watch videos out on tv

For the ipod touch, you can't use the simple AV cable that we all enjoyed with the older models. I have the 3G Ipod Video and love the ease and simplicity of plugging it in to my ipod and watching videos on TV. I also have an Iphone, so i don't have this luxury with this device.

There is a cable you can purchase that will allow playback with the newer models of iPod. You can check it out here: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/520691-REG/Apple_MB129LL_A_Composite_AV_Cable_for.html
