It doesnt charge!!!!!!!!! its been charging for 3 hours... will not turn on unless its plug in.

It sounds like your rechargeable battery has died. Rechargeable batteries have a limited number of charge/discharge cycles in their lifetime. The battery must be replaced.

I have a problem with my ipod video i charge it supposedly it will be fully charge after 2 hours but it wasn't i unplug it to it's charger and try to turn on it but it doesnt work. i charge it again and...

It seems so that your battery has run down in retaining the charge to it. Hence even if after several recharges the battery does not retain the charge then it is possible that the battery needs a replacement. You will have to open this piece which is tricky and find a replacement for the same type within. There could also be a possiblity until you open if there is any break in from the battery connection, the reason that it does not work at all with the battery. So check this out. Good day

It won't turn on

If you can turn your Player while being plugged into your computer then the issue is your rechargeable battery (otherwise it may be electonically dead).
All MP3 player with inbuilt rechargeable battery do eventually need to have the battery replaced, at a often un-economical cost, after some 18 months or 500 charge cycles.

IPod nano wont recharge

I would suspect that the battery is no longer good, these must be replaced by Apple contact their websit for instructions on how to do this.

Had the same problem with mine. Strip your ipod and you'll find that the left hand end of the battery has been rubbing against the mounting screw for the hold button and the positive track is exposed causing it to short out the battery. Placing a piece of plastic between the battery and the mounting screw sorts out the problem. My ipod charged and the battery still works fine. It seems to be a common problem with this model. Doesnt work... at all

The battery on these units dies after so many recharges. You most likely need to replace the battery. It's not difficult and you can usually find replacement batteries on E-Bay for around $20.
