Re: need to get the back off

The back of this machine IS NOT designed to be removed. When you say you have to fix the water feeds, what are you referring to ? Replacing the water valve assy. or something else ? Do you need breakdown instructions ?

The water feed is connected but the machine is not accepting the water

This COULD BE because when you selected your water temperature, you selected warm/cold or hot/cold. The hot water came in and you didn't notice any problems. When it got to rinse, the cold water the cold water won't come in. Therefore, the washer does nothing. OR IN SOME CASE NO WATER AT ALL comes in?
To check the water valve, first cut the water off and remove the hoses off the back of the washer. Then one at a time point the hoses inside the washer tub and turn the water back on. If you don't have good water pressure, turn the water back off and remove the strainer that should be in one end of the hose. Inspect the strainer to see if it is stopped up, clean it and reinstall it. Now repeat this test. If you have good water pressure now, reinstall hose and your problem is fixed.
If you still don't have good water pressure, the problem is in your house plumbing and you need to call a plumber. If you had good water pressure the first time you performed the test, the water valve is bad and needs replacing

Have a old maytag want to know if its fixable for cheap model LAT8414AAE will final spin but no water is coming out yes the water is on and its getting power help!

when it goes into the final rinse the washer just uses cold water no matter what you have the setting on, start the washer and flip the setting to cold, does the water come into the washer?try it on hot and check that,if no water coming out on one of the settings do this shut the valve off to the water that feeds the washer, mark the hoses so you'll know where they went and disconnect them from the back of the washer, stick them into the washer or a sink or bucket and turn the water back on,if water is coming out of both hoses you'll know the trouble is just with the washer and i'd say the cold water solenoid on the water valve on the washer is bad and you'll need to replace the valve.

My kenmore washing machine is having problems with water pressure

shut off the house water feed to the washer, mark the hoses so you know where they go when you reconnect them, remove the hoses from the back of washer, you can stick the hoses into the washer or in a backet, turn the water back on and make sure you have good pressure coming out of the hoses,if it's good now you know it's deffinetly the washer, most likely sediment clogged the screens in the valve and the valve on the washer needs to be replaced, you can try pulling the screens out of the valve while you have the hoses off and clean them out with a steel brush or tooth brush and put them back in to see if it helps,if you do this keep an eye on the washer,if the sediment gets through the screens it can keep the valve from closing all the way and the washer could fill with water with the washer off,,you'll know after running it if it's ok or just change the valve out

My lg squeals badly when it is filling up? any solutions

depending upon how much the washer has been used (if not excessive enough to wear out the pump), then you may have a simple case of a pinched water feed line, the water feed may have been turned off? there may be a filter on the feed which is plugged and finally you should already know the quality of your water, and if there is (calcium or other hard water?) build up enough to plug the feed line that may be the culprit -- check & fully inspect the condition of the interior of the feed line..
Best regards

Hot water fills very slow(30 MIN OR MORE TO FILL) good water flow from spicket to washer, screens are clear. sewems to be something with the washer its self

Might be a bad inlet valve. To confirm, swap the hot and cold hoses to your washer so that the cold water feeds the hot water connection and the hot water feeds the cold water connection. Turn off both hot and cold water faucets. Set the washer for a warm water wash. Turn on the cold water faucet, and check the flow. Then turn off the cold water faucet, and turn on the hot water faucet and check the flow. If the cold water flow fill slowly, then the problem is with the inlet valve.

It an easy part to obtain from an appliance supply house. To install disconnect the hoses to the back of the machine, and remove the back panel to get access to the valve. Should only take a couple of minutes to remove and install. Hope this helps you.

My Ge Adora washer fabric softner dispenser

You have low water pressure which wont reach the dispenser drawer during rinse cycle. Clean the feed pipe in case there's dirt in the feed gauze located at the back of the machine. The mould on the rubber is dirt in the machinme. A mixture of 1 cap of bleach and 1 small tub of Swarfega mixed with water and put into the drum on an empty wash will stop it geting worse but it cant be removed.

Ty for being here. I have a kenmore stack washer

Inside the machine you have a valve called inlet.

The inlet water valve will collect the cold and hot water lines, and open alternatively one or the other during cycle.

To access the inlet valve you need to take apart the machine, and that is not an easy task.
If you DIY remember to unplug power, there is high voltage running inside your appliance.

Below the inlet valve for your model:
