Question about Televison & Video
I have double on the screen and an oval at the top and bottom of screen, TV is 9 years old, hardly used and I purchased new in 1998. Sears Tech is charging $ 88.00 to come diagnose the problem....HELP !
What model number is your set? Can you upload a pic of what your screen is doing? It sounds like you Convergence amps are faulty which is a common problem with all projections as they run hot. Its a fairly cheap fix under 20.00 if you can solder you should be able to handle it easy enough.
