Motorola M800 bag phone has reverted to analog... need digital
Pls help... we have a cell phone booster on location (240kms north of Fort St John, BC. This repeater is digital, yet my bag phone has reverted to analog mode. How do I change it back to digital reception?
Re: motorola M800 bag phone has reverted to analog......
There is no setting for this. There is an analog only setting, but no way to turn digital off. This sounds like an issue with your carrier. The digital signal may have failed and all the phone can find is analog. The m800 will always look for a digital signal first. Give your carrier a call and let them know. Dan
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Sounds like they shorted out. or got water in the ign. coils These individual coils are very tempermental on these models. Dialectric grease helps on all connectors but doesnt always prevent moisture shorting out electrical parts.
