Psp error my psp is connected to the internet but when i type a web address in it says DNS connection error (8041040F). how do i fix this problem and will i beable to get internet access correctly

This error means you have the wrong DNS address. So, make a new connection and try that.

DNS error 80410414 means the web address was typed in wrong eg: i tryed every thing when this mesg came up, then when i nearly gave up i typed www.facebook.co.uk and it changes the address to http://en-gb.facebook.com/ the psp cant do this so it just gives an error mesg
i then typed in the address on my psp the exact address; http://en-gb.facebook.com/ AND IT WORKS :) WOWO :)

Connecting PS3 to a network I have LinkSys wireless router which is working perfectly for other devices (like laptop, Xbox360, TiVO). My wireless network is configured to NOT broadcast the SID and with a WEP key. After entering this manually in the network setup on my PS3, I was able to obtain an ip address from my router, I was able to open the configureation page on my router, but connecting to the internet would fail with some kind of DNS error. The way this was resolved for me, was to enter the DNS server addresses manually in the PS3 network settings AND use tetertiary DNS server from my ISP as either the primary or the secondary DNS server. ..btw, this also fixed the similar problem I had with my PSP.. you are typing in an incorrect address, DNS stands for Domain Name Server, meaning the address you typed was not listed.

U Have To ReConfigure The Internet Link Or Delete The History,cookies and stuff inside the broser options.

what connection type do u have? public IP ? with firewall? under rooter ? when does that error apear ? ....etc

dont solved problem!

ok solution:
click inafacture mode in network settings.
new connection > scan > now look for internet wchich has no security > choose it > then click left arrow > then choose easy and go to the save settings, save,test connection. IT WILL SAY YOUR INFO AT THE END AND THEN YOU CLICK CIRCLE GO TO INTERNET BROWSER AND ENJOY
IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG TRY AGAIN IN DIFFERENT PLACES.
