Question about APC Miniview (58098) 4-port KVM Switch
I lost my key and i want to bypass the starter switch how do i do this?
Most of this 2cycle engines uses any or a combination of the following wiring:
1. engine off is a wire from the CDI that needs to be grounded. The opposite therefore is to unground to allow the engine to run;
2. IGN on, when switched to ON, there is a +12VDC supplied to this wire; and/or
3. START, momentary +12VDC supplied to this wire that goes to the starter relay which then supplies the high current/big wire to the starter motor.
Due to inconsistency of Taiwan/China manufacturers, color coding of the wires is sometimes not standardized and therefore would require that you "wing" it using a DVM.
Hope this be of some help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.

Take off the ignition switch and you'll see 4 wires red black green whitish black wires.connect the red and black wires together to turn on the bike. then use the electric start or pull cord. leave the green and whitish black wires alone! if you want to turn it off disconnect the red and black wires and connect the green and whitish black wires to kill the engine. hope that helps cause i lost my key too and hats how i start mine!
