Question about Minolta magicolor 2300W Laser Printer

Re-copies further down page

Everything I print is replicated further down the page (about 1/3rd of a page below original text) - only a light shadow of the original. But still legible. I have a 'drum low' message on the 2300DL. Could it be this or something else? Thanks

I have a Canon printer. Whenever pictures or text gets a double or blurry image I open the printer solutions menu. It sounds as though there is a problem with inkjet alignment. By clicking the realignment button the printer will automatically realign the jets. I usually test the alignment by printing a page from that program. All the line segments should line up.

Hp 2100 prints spots

Have you recently cleared a jam? That sometimes can cause issues with specks showing up on that printer. Try cleaning the inside of the printer and run off some pages, as that can sometimes resolve the issue. Alternatively, the issue might be caused by a leaking ink cartridge, so you might want to make sure that isn't the problem. Reference this guide, as some of the information pertains to your specific printer.

Needs a good clean. The fuser isn't completely setting the text so it's sticking to the roller and coming back round on the paper further down.

Sounds like it is either resizing the image or not seeing all of the original.

Specify the original size and do not use auto.

Make sure thsat image shift or image centring is not on.

Poor print quality

the shadow-like copy of text is definitely coming from a faulty tone cartridge, replace it and you will have your solution,

the verical lines are caused by a dirty optical lens which is located under the keypad, just lift that up and you will see a glass bar that is likely dirty, clean it well and this should solve this problem as well

Shadows on prints

Hi, The problem your having sounds like a Fuser . The Fuser will cause printed text to give a ghosting look down the page were it repeats itself.

Replace Drum or blade(if possible) will fix on most types of copiers/printers, or rarer it is cause of fuser.

The problem can be caused by drrum unit, transfer belt unit and maybe something else also.
Try print something and when printer starts to take up paper open front cover and see if the text/picture is replicated on pc drum or transfer belt. it is bossible that it may be caused from pc drum. so try changing it.
