Usually you have to install the cd, if you can't do that you probably have to go to the start menu and type in computer, and it should tell you what's connected or whats in the cd drive. then click on the needed item and it should come up with options. SORRY IF THIS IS NO HELP!

The installation disk works only with PCs. The Mac is not supported by Sandisk. The e280 will work with some Macs though and only in the MSC mode. My e280v1 works with my Powerbook and my e280v2 works with my wife's I-Book. Both are running OS 10.4.11

I tried to upgrade from Tiger to Leopard on my Macbook but everytime i put the install disc into my laptop it spits it out a few moments later. It does not read the disc at all it just ejects it. I tried...

> I think something may be wrong with my optical drive

I agree. It may just be the physical sensors -- it's trying to detect that the inserted media is "fully" inserted, and spits it out if it determines that there is a "jam" that is partially blocking the detection.

Or, it may be the laser not working, and not reading anything from the media, and deciding to "eject" what it thinks is "invalid" media.

Take it to a certified Apple technician, for professional trouble-shooting.

When I start up my MacBook freezes,I am a new user.I have not done anything different than usual what do I do

Check for updates if possible from mac, but if you cant do anything try the following...if you have done nothing new to the computer and this problem started to happen... best thing to do is reinstall the system. if you have the instal discs, please do a full clean install. insert disc... power on and hold down the "C" key .. the installation process should beging. if nothing happens... time to take it to an apple store!!!! good luck

How to install D-link DIR 300 for MACBOOK

You shouldn't need to install anything off the CD. Simply plug your Macbook into the DIR-300 via ethernet (making sure you manually set your Macbook's IP to 192.168.0.x (where x is anything from 2-254). Then open up your web browser and type 192.168.0.1 into the address bar. This will log you into the DIR-300 (I think the default login is "admin" with no password).

Refer to the manual for the configuration for the rest of your setup.
