Depends of the torch you are using, if you have a single ought or 0 then run the oxygen at about 17 pounds and the gas at 7 pounds, this should give you a good clean cut. Remember to turn on the gas all the way, since gauges run slightly off you may have to increase one or the other, on the handle and barrel assembly you can adjust the gas first light the gas then turn on the oxygen get a good blue flame all even on the tips then turn the oxygen knob all they way on then when cutting be sure to heat the metal forward and move forward at a 17 degree angle, when you hit the cutting lever after the metal turns molten hit the oxygen lever move evenly and slowly if you need help with welding with it let me know and I CAN GIVE YOU SOME TIPS ON GAS WELDING.

Oven jets yellow flame at the top but blue near to the jets

Hi Tony,

a little yellow flame at the top is normal, but when to much, the mix of gas and oxigen is false. It means, there is to less oxigen.
Depending on the stove, most cookers have a burner model like the one on the link.
The gas enters the burner on th small part. In that very beginning part is the injection nozzle positioned (not on the picture).
then you see a hole at about 1 cm from the beginning. That is the air intake. Immediately after that point the gases are mixed.
Normally the distance of how far the nozzle is in the burner is not ajustable, but sometimes the opening of the air intake is ajustable.

My 180 MigPak will not deliver argon to the torch. The tank is turned on. But won't let gas flow when the trigger is squeezes. Stick the torch in water no bubbles appear. What could be the problem. ...

Your gas hose or torch could be bad or plugged. Your gas solenoid on the welder itself could be bad. Disconnect the torch gas hose at the welder and see if you have gas coming out of the welder itself.

WHICH O2 SENSOR HAS THE HEATER CIRCUIT IN IT BEFORE OR AFTER THE CATALYST

Hi.
The Oxigen sensor are in diferent kind.
1 -- With a single wire. " is only oxigen sensor"
2 -- With 2 wires " is only oxigen sensor"
3 -- With 3 wires " Is oxigen and heater sensor"
4 -- With 4 wires " is oxigen sensor and heater sensor.
5 -- with 6 wires " is oxigen, heater A/F sensor" normally Nissan)

OK........Your question.
Depend of the year of your car.
But all the car they are Bank 1 or single bank. Engine in line
4 cyl . or 6 cyl. And are identified sensor 1 bank 1 and sensor 2 bank 1. S11 or S21.
But all the Engines in V are bank 1 and bank 2.
Sensor 1 bank 1, sensor 2 bank 1, S11 or S21.
Sensor 1 bank 2, sensor 2 bank 2, S12 or S22.
Sensor one is alway before catalystic.
Sensor two is alway after catalystic.

If you have problen with the oxigen sensor you need to put a scanner to see the number of code, The number of code will give the especific sensor that you need to replace.
The code can be heater or oxigen. and can be refer to a the same sensor.

I hope this information work for youu.
Thank you for use fixya.
