CHARGING THE HP POCKET 2003

Good day to you. My wife has an HP Pocket pc 2003 that she purchased from a good friend. unfortunately the manual was lost. we just put in a new battery into the charger.

our 1st question is does the charge go from a blinking amber lite, to a solid amber lite then to Green or how do we know when it is fully charged?

Also keep anything important on a storage card - unlike newer Pocket PC devices (Windows Mobile 5.0 and up) if the battery dies completely, everything on the Pocket PC is erased.

Early versions don't charge through the USB cable. They need a separate power connection. You'll need to buy a power cord.
