Re: camera lens

This is a simple one. The lens is tilted at an angle. Most likely you will find your lens cap doesn't fit correctly and all you need to do is align the lens correctly. Then when you turn on the power, the lens will autmatically extend.

Lens on my camera not working I want to fix the camera myself

If the lens is stuck out then you will find it is usually one of a few reasons.

1. Check the
batteries. (obvious I know).
2. The
camera has been dropped or knocked.
3. The camera has grit or dirt in the lens mechanism.

Providing the batteries are ok then 2 and 3 usually mean a professional repair. The lenses tend not to be something that the average
home user can remove and take apart. The cost of repair also might be more than the camera value so you will need to find a good repair shop near you and get a quote.

You can obviously try to pull the lens and twist it, I'm assuming you did that, it fixes the issue in 20% of the cases but usually the mechanism is permanently damaged and needs replacement. Lens Stuck open on Mz67 hp camera Error code Mz60-022

Was this stuck fully open or was the lens partially opened, or was the lens jammed?

The lens can be removed and replaced with another lens from another non-functioning camera (See ebay). The lens component can also be dissembled. Putting the lens back together is tricky because the parts have to be aligned just right for the lens to work. If working with a Jammed lens, extra care has to be considered not to break any of the moving plastic parts of the lens or that part (if not entire lens) is junk.

With the motor detached from the lens, the lens should extend and retract freely. Use this to test the lens when you dissemble the camera. Be careful of the flash board.

He took the battery out of my camera and press the off and on button for a while. Then he put the battery back in the camera and press the on button. The lens of the camera was now going inside en outside and inside and outside with a strange noise. And also on the screen stood lens error. Okey, the lens is inside the camera. Lens Stuck

I guess pushing the lens inside may have made the problem worse.
I follow a rule- if you drop an electronic equipment and a problem occurs- it usually takes a professional repair!
For all you kamow there is a minor problem in the camera, like something stuck inside or something like that. and most certainly you will aggravate the problem by trying to do it yourself..

do post when you get it repaired, for all of us to know what goes wrong when lens gets stuck..
take care
