Question about LG 42PX4DR 42 in. Plasma TV
There are bands of pink runing vertical on my Plasma TV screen.
This happened about 2-4 mins after the TV was turn on. And it get worst with double the image. Can you tell me what is the problem and how to fix it. Thanks
The PDP (plasma) panel has gone bad and need to be replaced. This is not a user serviceable part and cost about 1/3 of buying a new unit plus the cost of labor for a two-man job. I would hope that this unit was purchased less than 1 year as warranty for parts and labor is 1 year. If not I do hope you purchased an extended warranty or paid it with a MasterCard (some MC card provider extends the warranty by another year). Cost of repair for flat screen TVs are high so it really a wise investment to purchase extended warranty. Fixya offers extended warranty on your future electronics purchase. Hope this helps.
