Razr display goes dark

Hi,

I got a new razr v3a & the display turns off. I turned off the battery power save feature & set all the settings so that it would always be on. It still goes dark. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks.

I have just got that and I think it happened during the night they changed the time back to winter time. It might be a bug. Everything goes dark but the little front display LCD still shows data.

Anyway, don't reset it by removing the battery. II did five times and it didn't clear the problem. Instead turned it of using the red OFF button. Wait for 10 sec and turn it on using the same button. Everything came on as normal.

Yes i think that in the phone you go to option menu in menu settings in setting displays is the option there you have the option to either turn off the display or choose the interval like 1 minute or 2 minute.

THE CAMERA GOES DEAD VERY SOON WHEN IT TURNS ON. IT HAS GOOD BATTERIES.

Hi, I've scoured the 3 page manual and come up with this.:-
There is nothing wrong with your camera. The camera has a built-in power saving
feature that turns the camera off after 30 seconds of inactivity (default setting) to
conserve battery power. The auto off time setting can be changed in the set up menu.
Changing the Auto Off Time Setting:
1. Set the camera to Camera Mode.
2. Press the Menu button to display the main menu.
3. Press until the Setup is highlighted.
4. Press to enter the Setup submenu.
5. In the Setup menu, press to highlight “Auto Off Time”.
6. Press to enter “Auto Off Time”. Press to highlight the time you want.
7. Press the OK button to save your selection.
Hope this helps

No display machine goes into Power Save Mode

Not much to go on here.
I assume you mean the machine goes into power save mode and you can't get it back out again?

There are power mode setting in control panel.
You might need to turn it off so the power save feature is not activated.

There are also power save setting in the BIOS settings.
Again you may need to disable it or try different settings.

Cant send pics with my motorola v3a

Hi you will need to set up GPRS and MMS settings on your phone. If your phone already connects to wap internet then all you need is to adjust MMS setting (found in messaging section / mms settings). Speak to your network operator as they should be able to send setting over the air and when you receive just save and it is done. If after this it still does not work ask your provider to make sure your provisioned for GPRS as some older accounts may not have it enabled. Being its a Motorola I recommend getting over the air settings...its easier.
Found this on Motorola site...
https://motorolasetup.tarsin.com/home.htm?locale=en_GB&country=GB
Your model is not listed but if you change the sites region to yours, as I expect your not in UK, you should find it under mobile/support/settings mms, gprs. Hope that helps?

Sounds like you have the "Battery Save" feature set to "ON". Go into settings and set the "Battery Save" feature to OFF.

Good luck.

My new Razar V3a makes buzzing sound

If the buzzing is coming from the keyboard then it's a known problem/feature. Got the same on mine when the keypad is lit up, so rag Motorola, who said sorry, known feature with that model.
