Question about Blaupunkt DVD-MER
My dvd player is playing but no picture on screen. The player shows time counting but no picture. Also, when I load the dvd in player, the screen stays blue. It usually says disc loading on screen. On player display, it sometimes shows root or elect when I press play or pressing buttons on remote. Need some assistance.
Thanks in advanced!
Looks like you need a new player, but first try anothere t.v if it does the same then you need a new player

Hi. The problem is usually a lens fault.
Try first using a cleaner cd to clean the lens. If that does not work, the unit must be taken apart, and the lens cleaned using solution and soft cotton stubs.Lens cleaning may affect warranty status. Call manufacturer to get more info.
Here a general article on the topic, procedures to clean the lens are the same for CD and DVDs:My player does not read disks

that problem is usually happen when the optical cd lens is dusty...In that case you need to clean the lens in actual meaning you have to open the cover of your machine then wipe the lens using cotton buds or tissue or its better if you have micro fiber cloth to avoid scratches and remember don't use any chemicals that causes blurred...
But before you go to the procedure above please try to use CD lens cleaner so that you don't need to open the cover of your machine...But if the CD lens cleaner did not help you have no choice you need to perform the suggestion above...
I hope this information will be helpful...
Thanks for using fixya..
