Nokia Restriction Codes are used to remove restrictions added to a Nokia phone by your original carrier so it will only work with their network. It is also known as an unlock code or an unlock password. You can get the unlock code through online..........i will suggest the website Unlock-Zone.com which is doing good service .....you can approach this website.
If the phone is worthless to you without vibrate mode, you should remove the battery and immerse the phone in distilled water. Agitate it for a few minutes, then dry it for another week, rotating the phone to a different position every day.
If that doesn't work, call your service provider about replacing your phone. I think you will find repair to be the most expensive option.
You can save money by downgrading on some features.
For instance, do you really need a phone that will work after being dropped in coffee?
HI
A restriction code is numeric code (password) that prevents a user from accessing certain technical settings of a phone. It is specifically designed to prevent a phone from being reprogrammed to work with a different carrier (service provider).
This is what is usually meant when a phone is referred to as "locked". There are also "unlocked" phones that can be reprogrammed to work with a different carrier.
The reason for this system is the way phones are often sold. Many phones are sold below cost, (at a loss to the carrier,) with the expectation that the money will be recouped in the cost of the monthly service plan. The up-front loss that is later recouped is called a Subsidy.
For this to work financially for the carrier, the user must not buy the phone and then use it with a different carrier. The MSL makes that nearly impossible.
Unlocked phones are ususally much more expensive than locked phones, because there is no subsidy to offset the cost.
You should ask the operator for the restriction code
you should replace the lcd screen of your mobile phone to the nearest certified technicians to prevent damage to your phone. The best would be at nokia care center.
