My Optoma DV10 works fine for 20 sometimes 45 minutes then freezes up. Bulb and fan stays on but movie just stops playing.

Hi,

All gadgets have limits and have a tendency to malfunction if over used most of the time.
You have to give sometime for it to rest too, machines and gadgets are like humans too, needing time to rest and recharge after a hardwork. If this is not your case however, it's best if you visit your provider and have it checked if it's stops without you overusing it then this should be covered by warranty.

Why wont my movietime projector play from my lap top when connected by the D-SUB, i have used fn +4

All lap tops are different and some are f7 or f10. The picture that your looking for is the one square half way over another square. and make sure that the input selected in the projector is the same as the input you've connected the laptop to.

My optoma dv10 movietime projector is making a buzzing noise. I am using a different power cord since i can't find the original cord. could this be the problem?

if the cord is too loose, you'll have arcing, but it'll sound like crackling. if the buzzing is from inside, it may be the colorwheel motor breaking down. it'll need to be replaced.

It doesn't play the movie. It says can't read

This seems to be a common problem with optoma DV10 series. I'm assuming that is why they discontinued that model. We hooked up a playstation or dvd player and use that instead.

Wont power up optoma movie time

it's probably not this: Try using the remote to turn it on. I cleaned out mine a while ago and the controls on the main unit stopped working. Only way to turn it on now (for me) is the remote.
