HI there I take it that you have a paper jam open the back door and check that there isn't any paper wrapped around the fuser roller you will be able to see it. If there is then push the little green levers down and try to remove paper from the cartridge side open front cover and remove cartridge if you can see the tail end of the paper pull slowly towards you. once removed close rear door and instll toner and start printing again. If you cannot remove paper from fuser then machine will have to be taken apart the remove paper. Also have you noticed any gray plastic film that has come out with the prints if so then the fuser film is broken and that will need a new fuser unit installed.

If the printer simply doesn't pickup the paper then remove the toner cartridge and using a soft cloth wipe clean the little gray rubber tyre that sits in the middle of the machine then test.

Hope this helps you as I didn't have a lot to go on but
Thanks J

Getting paper jam message but there is no paper jammed will not reset itself

Generally, when a paper jam message is displayed, there is in fact some sort of debris, dirt, or paper pieces blocking the paper jam sensor. My suggestion, take a thick piece of card stock and manually feed it through the paper path; this should hopefully clear any debris that is blocking the jam sensor in that area. Also, try spraying some canned air into the paper path, as if there is dust blocking the sensor, it will be more likely to be removed with air than card stock.

Hello. I think you're referring to the paper guide that's blocking your paper. You can actually slide it to the sides and adjust it so the paper fits. For more information, you can check the User's Guide in the Lexmark website. Just click on this link: . Click on Publications tab on the center of the page. Choose the User's Guide. Hope that will help you.

The paper is feeding unevenly and jamming

Agreed. Assume every time this happens something microscopic fell into that tiny pinch of an area. I have found everything from a Tostito crumb to a chip of drywall blocking my paper feed. Flip your machine over and shake it around til the little bugger falls out.

Continues to report paper jam even though no paper; reset does nothing.

Try to look for the sensor as some tiny paper shreds might be blocking it which causes the system to detect a paper jam.

Also look for tiny pieces of shredded papers that might got stuck between the rollers.

Paper jam

If it is getting crumpled in the tray, there is something blocking the paper path.
What I would suggest is taking out the toner and drum cartridge, then remove the paper tray. Tip the machine on it's back and look into the paper feed area for something blocking the paper path.
When it is crumpling the paper like that, the feeder is working fine, just something blocking the paper path.
You can take a minela folder, and gently push it through the paper path to dislodge the obstruction.
