Re: i cant start my car

Either replace the spark plug or you have a cracked cylinder head.

You need to check out your voltage and charge regulator. Some are built into the car, and some are external. Check your fuse and relay boxes under the hood for anything blown. You are is not regulating the charge your alternator produces. Whoever installed the alternator is responsible for the charge function working. If you took it to a mechanic then they are supposed to finish the job. Otherwise go to your local auto parts store. Ask them too look up a voltage regulator for your model. Some people don't know how to use that system so go a couple of places to make sure you find someone who can really find your part. When you find the part you can either replace it (recommended) or use a OHM meter to test resistance on both new and old one. If the values are different, then replace the regulator. Let me know if anything in this car is much different than that.

They all do, I believe, I installed a new one, into my computer system not long ago, are you sure your power supply is one that the computer can handle? You shouldn't have that much of a problem - I wouldn't go pulling apart the wires on the power supply, its made like that for a reason, what you could try is see if your power supply has seated properly, sometimes if your not working on a flat surface the power supply plug won't go in properly and will not be pushed in all of the way, try laying your computer on its side, and pushing in the plug also, each motherboard has a certain amount of plugs for example 20 and 24, some motherboards want it to be a 20 power plug and others want it to be 24 power plug, thats the plug thats connected to your motherboard, that I'm talking about. make sure you have the right number, and that the motherboard plug and the power supply plug match, basically have the same number of connectors, (I mean that little white plug at the end of the red, yellow, black, wires, I hope this helps. ps- I really had to push on the white plug to get my seated properly

Idle problems

Hmmm... this doesn't sound like a problem that belongs here... By "cuts off" do you mean stop running, or misfire? Carb. problems often are the result of the bike having set for many months or a year or two with old gas, which can result in a varnishing like of the fuel in the carburetors, which can clogg small passage ways, and subsequent no-idle, or other poor fuel delivery. Problems such as this require repair by knowledgeable mechanics. Other things which can upset correct fuel/air mixture are modifications such different exhaust system, air cleaner change, camshaft- any mod of these can require some retuning.
