The fuel filter is dirty even if it dosent look like it,,they have a high particulate filter and they will stop up pretty quick if you have had a dirty fuel container or just a bad location that you purchased your fuel.

Reddy-Heater will start then run about 10 seconds then stop.

The heater has a photocell that has to see the correct flame or it will cause the heater to turn the unit off.
I would suggest checking the the pump pressure and the output filter to make sure you are getting the correct amount of pump pressure to the nozzle.

Ready heater Pro 100 (65-100,000 BTU0) strong oder that berns the eyes after a short period of time and is worse on low settings. Does have suffishent ventalation. What cold be wrong or cause this

Your eyes burn because the flame is burning too rich or too lean. Always start troubleshooting a fuel delivery problem by setting the pump pressure.

If the pressure is correct, check for a restricted fuel filter, a cracked end cover, air or vac leaks between the pump/nozzle and tank/nozzle.

DESA recommended annual replacement of the nozzle because they wear out and start producing a spray rather than a fog.

My R100 reddy heater will ignite and run when I have the top of the torpedo off. While running I can put the top on and it runs smoother with less excess fuel. It does not ignite or start with the top...

The air settings may have changed. Anytime you change a filter for the air, or just remove it and reinstall it the air settings change. A small amount of pressure change can cause your issue. These heaters are very sensitve to air pump pressure changes. If you took off the nozzle, you took off the hoses too. Check that the hoses do not leak at the fittings to the nozzle body.I belive there is a sticker on the unit that gives the specs for the air pressure settings. Do you still have your owners manual? It should tell you in there how to trouble shoot the heater, There are 2 screws at the back of the motor, 1 is the pressure gauge port, and the other can be adjusted to set the pressure. It is recomended to use an air gage to set the pressure after any kind of service. You will need a low pressure testing gage. Accurate to 3-6 lbs. NOTE:( tire pressure gages are not reccomended for this) Check those lines, use a clamp or a zip tye to seal them to the fitting. I hope this helps.

My reddy heater 115 pro starts, but shuts off after about 5 seconds of running , i replaced the filters and nozzle about 2 years ago

Here is a service manual:

If the flames actually starts but the unit shuts off after 5 seconds you need to check the pump cover on your heater to make sure you have no cracks in the rear cover.
This could be from low pump pressure but most often this problem is caused from a defective control board.

NO FUEL AT NOZZLE

FOUND THAT THE FUEL HOSE AND AIR PUMP HOSE HAD BEEN REVERSED AT THE NOZZLE-PUMP HOSE NEEDS TO BE CLOSEST TO THE BLOWER HOUSING-I USED A VAC GAUGE TO TEST THE FUEL LINE-WHILE THE AIR PUMP WAS RUNNING-NO VAC-REVERSED LINES AND STARTED UNIT-ADJUSTED AIR PRESSURE-ALL IS WELL

Reddy heater runs then stops

it's the ignitor itself, if everythingelse is working or new then your just not getting enough spark. Also check your air lines as they do tend to get brittle and if your not getting enough air it won't light either.
