Question about Samsung Jet S8000 Cell Phone
1. When I press the 'down' volume button it doesn't decrease the volume but instead brings up the call history. This is a used phone that I bought from ebay - is this the normal function of the down volume button and if not how do I change it back?!

STEP 1: Switch off your phone, remove its battery, and then place it back.
STEP 2: Now, hold the Volume Down button and Power button. And then release the Power button while still holding the Volume Down button.
STEP 3: Now you will get a list of options to choose from. Which would be like:
STEP 4: There, choose the Clear Storage option.
NOTE: Use Volume UP and Volume Down keys for navigation and Power or Home button for selection.
STEP 5: Now confirm by pressing Volume Up button (YES) or Volume Down (NO).
That is it! Now, you Galaxy S will reboot and you will find that you have reset your Galaxy S to factory settings.
