I would suspect that your virgin emails are set to forward to your hotmail account. If virgin offers webmail for your account, login to it and check your settings. It could be that at some point you setup forwarding and forgot about it. Or you could contact your isp and ask if there is a forward setting on your account and ask them to remove it.

Cant send email

If you are using the online client by navigating to Hotmail, this would be a Hotmail issue. If you are using a local client (Outlook, Windows Live mail, Incredimail, etc.), check with your ISP for the correct SMTP settings. Spam responsibility caused ISPs to curtail sending mail.

Just gone from virgin to sky and was told i could use my old e.mail address but nothing can not get my e.mails virgin said that now i have switched i have no access apart from ringing sky and being on...

NO! Nio if you had a virgin address tom@virgin.com or whatever. once you switch to another carrier your emails are rejected back to the sender until you advise them of your new address Tom@sky.com or whatever.

If your addres was like Tom@hotmail.com then it doesn't matter what carrier you have as you are dealing with webmail that can be collected by any new carrier via an email client like Express or your choice of email clients.

I discontued my Yahoo e-mail service. My user

Delete jbokholt@yahoo.com from your contacts/address book. That will stop any new occurrences.

You most likely have jbokholt@yahoo.com as a recipient in some e-mail threads to which you still reply. Your friends are most likely doing the same thing.

Am tring to set up my email on my new note book in out look express but dont seem to be able to come up with the log on page so am not able to do any thing like send an email can use email on my hotmail...

Outlook Express needs you to have an email account with your ISP, and your ISP should provide you with the setup items like Mail Servers. Once this isw done, you will have complete access to your email.

As an example, my ISP is Comcast and my mail servers are

mail.comcast.net to receive, and
smtp.comcast.net to send.

Your ISP will have their own servers, of course.

You will need to log in to these servers, using logins and passwords provided by your ISP. Outlook Express manages this as well.

Email not arriving

Verify with your ISP if they have  a Spam Trap, and how you can "whitelist" addresses.  If they have a spam trap,  you might NEVER never see the emails it catches.   You could ask them to turn it off and see how much more email traffic  you get.
