If there is no filter located at the front of washer then you need to remove lower rear cover of washer.
Remove large black hose on bottom of drum.
TRemove and clean filter inside hose.
Remove hose onto pump, and check for obstruction or blockage here and in the pump.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Wf310 hotpoint aquarius washing machine wont spin or drain

Power off the mains. The filter is located behind the silver plate at the back of the machine at the bottom. Four screws hold it on. Drain out all the water. The filter is inside the big black rubber hose attached between the pump and the main drum. Remove the plastic clip holding it to the pump unit and then the metal cir clip holding it to the main drum. Inside is a white molded cone and a big white ball which floats. You will find a lot of junk here, clean out thoroughly. To refit put white cone back inside just as you found it, at the bottom, fit ball back into the cone. Attach to the bottom to the drum and re-fasten the cir clip. Finally reconnect the gator to the pump unit and tighten the plastic clip. Check out the pump too before reconnecting.

The water is not draining away. Hotpoint WD63

filter is located at the bottom rear of the appliance... if its pump obstruction then to lay the drain hose into a bowl is a means of getting the water out manually.. if its a blockage and water wont drain this way then lay the unit down on its R/H side (not soap dispenser side)....then acces to the filter can be made without flooding the place..best if 2 persons were to do this as the machine can be heavy when full with water and clothes.. best of luck..

The water wont drain or spin wf210 hotpoint

Hi I think your problem is that the filter is blocked, filter is located between drum and pump at the rear, clean that out and that should solve the problem.

Hotpoint WF340 wont drain

I have the HOTPOINT WF540 with the same problem ....So remove the front panel at the front of the machine and you will see the filter plug unscrew anti clockwise, you may find it difficult to unscrew as the filter may be blocked solid with coins ans long objects but once you have started it off wiggle it back and forth with some force till the objects dislodge you may be scared of breacking it but the worst you can do is snap of the plunger which is attached to the filter plug, behind the filter plug its self which will do no real harm and you can put it back in unattached to the filter plug with no worries when your done
you can also drain of the water out of the drum drum from this point but you will need a very slim try to fit under the front of the washer below the filter plug DO NOT totaly remove the plug if the is washing machine is full of water, just release the plug till water slowly trickles out and drain it a bit at a time or you will flood your floor

Hotpoint aquarius wf325 filter problem, Blocked maybe?

You are correct as to the location of the filter.
Remove rear panel, locate large black hose at right lower side.
Remove securing clip and hose, inside you will see the plastic filter, remove and clean filter, note location of plastic ball.
Refit filter and hose, and securely fasten hose back on.
When you remove hose, watch out for water, as there will be some in the hose.

water test before fitting panel back on.
Plz rate my solution
Thanks.

My hotpoint wma56 wont do its fast spin cycle

Have you checked and cleaned the filter on the machine, usually located and the front near the bottom. If so then there is 2 other possibilities, either your water pump at the back of the machine is blocked or faulty, or it's the timer on the machine. A washer won't go into spin mode until it has drained all the water from the machine first. hence the pump has to run. Just remember to drain all the water from the machine before checking your filter otherwise it will end up on your floor.
