After 45 mins i`ve found your manual.it looks like you have to incorporate the tones in the profileof your settings of whose calling.
So you should be able to set the keypad to be mute ofr dtmf.
Fingers crossed !

NET10 W408g does not allow using the Xlink gateway fully, especially sending DTMF codes to automated systems.

Jim

Been a long time since I have seen this phone but I seem to remember a setting like this. Some phones had a long and short setting too.

Activate DTMF tones: Menu > Settings > Initial Setup > DTMF When you dial a number, your phone sends it to your network as Dual Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF) tones. To send DTMF tones during a call, just press number keys or scroll to a number in the phonebook or recent calls lists and press Options > Send Tones

Where can I turn on the DTMF setting on my LG800G phone?

On the Net10 and Tracfone LG800G the setting for the DTMF isn't located under settings, one of the quirks with this phone. You have to make a call using the number/keypad and when the call connects use the menu key on the bottom left (after unlocking the screen) to bring up the in-call menu and the DTMF On/Off settings are located there. Not where you would expect them to be!

What is principle behind pulse dialling mode & tone dialling mode in technical terms

Pulse dialing is a holdover from Rotary phones, which when the rotor is turned and let go, counts out the number you entered in clicks on the telephone line. Pulse, or DTMF (Dual-tone multi-frequency), uses two overlaid tones (one for row and one for column) to signify a button press.

Accessing Voicemail on LG KS360?

When you press numbers do they appear on screen as if you had pressed?
Is it that when you press a key your voicemail just does not respond to the option number you pressed?

If the answer is yes to these it sounds like you have turned off DTMF tones. If it is off, key presses look like they work but actually the phone is blocking the tone for that button from being sent down your line. People sometimes turn off by mistake or to stop their mobile number being visible when calling someone. If you look in menu and make sure DTMF tones are ON it should solve your problem? Hope that helps?

DTMF is techno-speak for tone dialing (as opposed to pulse). Your GE phone is DTMF.

SF-515 does not dial anymore

Hi there try this press menu then using the arrow keys go into machine settings I think if not you are looking for line type. Once in the make sure it is set to tone.

Once you have done this come out and try if this doesn't work then the control panel maybe faulty and you could take it apart and clean the number pad keys and make sure that the buttons move freely.

If they do cleanup and put back together and check machine if it still doesn't work then the panel will more than likely need replacing.

Thanks J

Can't get to voicemail

Change the DTMF found in phone settings (Initial Set-up) to either short or long. When this is set to off, the voicemail cannot pick up the numbers you type.
