Question about Canon PIXMA MP190 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Most likely a bad driver or a bad install. Disconnect the printer, uninstall the one you have now, run a registry cleaner and reboot.
Now go <a rel='nofollow' href="http://software.canon-europe.com/products/0010639.asp">here</a> and download - as in Save, not Run - the installers for the driver and associated software (Utility and Easy Print) relating to your OS - save them in a secure location, you will need them later if you reinstall Windows.
Close the browser and install in the following order: MP Drivers, Add-on module, Utility, Easy-Print. Do not connect the printer until told so.
