call an electrician to check the insulation for ground leakage and breaker capacity for current use
it will most likely be tripping from moisture across the active and neutral wires somewhere

Bosch diswasher, model Sms68m02AU trips circuit breaker

rcd units trip from the milliamps that are in a short
it trips the rcd to prevent electrocution and acts in nano seconds besides being a circuit breaker for excessive current
the trip can be from moisture allowing a current leakage to ground or some other simple operation
I suggest that you get in a qualified electrician / bosch service technician to find the reason for the problem rcd

When using a lot of kitchen appliances at the same time the rcd trips , can i change the rcd to one with higher amps to stop this ?

You should only install a higher amp breaker if ALL of the wiring served by that breaker are of sufficient gauge to support the amperage of the breaker. For example the link below shows that a 20 amp circuit should have 12 gauge wiring (which has a conductor wire .08" or 2mm in diameter). http://www.cerrowire.com/ampacity-charts

Bosch Classixx 1000rpm. Trips out RCD each time turned on. Am able to use other appliances in same power point. Only 3-4 years old

If the RCD is tripping then the appliance has an earth leakage fault. You should remove the plug from the power point and not use it until you get it repaired. This is a potentially dangerous fault, and the RCD is telling you it is faulty.

Faulty Diplomat Dishwasher - tripping mains fuse

Hello,

My dishwasher a diplomat 12 program (hja8640) was doing exactly the same where every now and again when turned on at the plug it would trip. After engineers coming out several times and failing to fix it, they condemed it. New one was supplied, however did exactly the same thing. The electrician came back, checked the RCD power breaker and this was fine. It was then discovered that some dishwashers and washing machines send out a lot of earth leakage, combine this with other appliances on in the house can be enough to trip.

Soloution. The electrician removed the kitchen circut from the RCD breaker and intalled another breaker RCD just for the kitcehn loop, this therefore means that the kitchen has a seperate trip from the rest of the house, and touch wood, has solved the problem. This mind you has taken about three months to work out so i hope it saves you some time.

Always use a fully qualified electrician though.

Thanks.
