FM Presets and locating "in line" setting for recording

I"ve tried all kinds of combinations of button pushing to try to create presets on the FM tuner but haven't done anything even by accident, what's up? And I have scrolled all over the place looking for an "in-line" setting for recording from another source. Could you tell me if there even is one? thankyou, pucul

Creative zen xtra 60GB mp3 player question...

First thing I'd do is compare the sound coming from your MP3 player to the sound of the same songs playing from your computer speakers, to eliminate any possiblility of the audio files being at fault (I realise you haven't altered them yourself but they could be faulty at source)

Then check the graphic equaliser in your player and see what the current setting is. Most audio devices these days come with a range of presets and these often include a karaoke setting so I'd check thats not been toggled by mistake.

Then have a play with your EQ settings to see if you can bring the vocals back up in the mix, vocals tend to lie in the 1-2kHz range of the audio spectrum so give it a boost in this region. You might also want to try cutting the bass end, too much bass energy in a mix can steal your headroom and lead to parts dropping out unpredictably like this. N.B. if your player only offers EQ presets rather than a proper hands on EQ then look for presets with names like Mid boost or Bass cut, even a general POP preset should be OK, just avoid things like Dance, Hiphop and the like.

Radio for Sandisk model SDMX1

Press the AB button to toggle between Audio Play, Radio, and Voice Record. Use the left/right scroll to highlight Radio. Then press the center button or play/pause button once to select radio.

You will see FM Radio in the upper left corner of the display. Under that you will see either Preset followed by a number OR Channel. If it is on Preset, you can use the left/right scroll to switch between preset stations. If you press and hold the AB button, the player will scan through all frequencies to find the strongest stations in your area and set those as the default preset stations. When on a particular station, press and hold the record button to delete that station from your presets.

Press the center button once to switch to Channel (or back to Preset). Under Channel, you can manually scroll through the frequencies yourself. Push left or right and hold for about a second to find the next available station.

Press the play/pause button once to toggle between Mono and Stereo.

Those are all the functions I've found so far. Hope it helps.

Good luck,

Sirius Stiletto II

If you’re having this problem while using the FM transmitter try using a different FM Station. I have the same problem. Mine only does this when I am using the FM transmitter. I recently noticed my volume is adjustable on certain FM Stations, and on other FM stations the volume control is limited. I hope this helps.

Iriver e10 how to record radio

After you long press the right arrow button the special menu appears: Record, Saved FM Recording, FM Recording Quality, Save Preset, Stereo/Mono, Auto preset, Tuner region. The FM Radio works very well, it has amazing reception compared to cellphones with FM support, but it won't continue playback while you are reading a text file. You must stay in the FM app to have it activated.
