Hello and thank you for using Fixya's services.

The only way that you can remove the ads from the email is to upgrade to a premium or business account. Because the email is free, you get the pretty ads.

Hope this helps!

Emails can be sent using html or txt. Text is for security purposes. You can change it under options, under profile, top right of the email page sort of, just drop down a little.

I want my old email page back

The "new" Yahoo Mail webmail interface is generally not reversable. Yahoo has changed the look & behavior of its webmail page, but no emails should have been lost in any individual accounts. If you had old emails stored in a folder or folders, make sure that the "Folders" section (in the left column, under "Inbox," "Sent," "Trash," etc) is expanded so you can see all the folders.

Here is some advice from eHow:

I want to delete a second email address from my yahoo email account.

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

Sign in to your Yahoo account.

Click the Account Info or My Account link at the top of the page.

Re-enter your password for verification.

Click the "Edit" button next to "Member Information."

Click finish to save.

If you are referring to the extra e-mail address then it is different.

Click Options in the upper-right corner of the page and select Mail Options.

Under "Management", click Mail Addresses.

Click on the extra address you want to delete.

Click Delete.

When you've removed your extra mail address, email messages sent to that address bounce back to the sender.

There is also a way to get to 'hidden' emails on there.

If you get stuck, let me know!

I have blocked a contact in the past I now wish to allow e mails from this person thank you. Marjie

From your mail home page, Go to your mail options list and under the heading "spam" find the email address you want to restore on the list and click remove. This will take it from your blocked senders list; then email from this sender will come to your inbox again.

How to recall sent email from yahoo? Please help! Thank you, Catherine

Hello,
You can find your Sent items folder right under the Inbox followed by the Drafts folder.
You can see all your Sent emails from that section. It is on the left pane of the yahoo mail interface when you are already logged in.

Here are the instructions to send an attachment with your email in G-Mail:

1) Log into your G-Mail account.
2) Select, 'Compose Mail'.
3) Look to the top of the page, See: 'To' > Under that see, 'Subject'.
4) Just under the word 'Subject, see - 'Attach a file'
(it will have a little paperclip icon in front of it)
5) Click on, 'Attach a File' and select the file or document you wish to attach with your email.
6) Compose your email and click, 'Send'

Your document will be sent with your email.
