Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

Voice memory full message ...

When I power on the phone and try to use it the above message comes on. My phone was working properly up until now. I've recharged it, removed the battery and sim card for a little while, still nothing. Also when I press any key I get the same message, so I can't get into any of the phone functions to reset the phone. I tried using the USB cable to flash it but I am not sure if I did the procedure correctly. Also there is no red button indicator in the phone hopefully that will help. I've read a lot of reviews on how to fix the problem but I am not sure what to? Phone is little over a year old, no warranty and I'm not ready to throw in the towel on this unless I have to. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Voice memory full message ...

This solved my problem of my Razor V3 keypad repeatedly giving a voice record memory full error message:

1. Purchase at local hardware a precision tool with star bits (I bought a Husky HD-74502W at Home Depot for $6.00.

2. Power off phone.
3. carefully remove the screws on the inside cover of the LCD panel. There may still have the rubber plugs which you can remove carefully with a toothpick. Be careful not to pop it off and lose it though (they're small!)
4. Take a flat head and pry the LCD panel off the back cover. You may notice that it is filled with all kinds of crud, dirt.
5. Use compressed air (all purpose duster) and blow the dust and dirt from the connections.
6. There are two flat circuits at the bottom of the hinge which connects the keypad to the screen. This is where I found the problem. On the gold circuit, there is a tiny latch, carefully lift it up. I used a tiny needle nose plier to detach the connection to clean it with canned air. I noticed it was full of dust.
7. Carefully place back in the gold circuit connection and close the tiny latch to secure it.
8. At this point, I powered on the phone to make sure it would work correctly. The hellomoto graphic should come up when powered up. If not, you didn't put the connection in correctly.
9. You may have to clean the other connection as well. If all is good, reattach cover and screw back in.
9. Thanks for all the past troubleshooting. I hope this helps keep another Razor from the harzardous waste dump.

Re: Voice memory full message ...

Your voice messages sometimes get saved but dont reflect for you to read, try and call voice mail no and listen to all the messages as you delete them also, a hanging incoming voice message may be the problem so unless you empty your voice mail box you cannot do anything.

Sony ericsson k800i states operation failed when i try to open games

Operation failed" is an error message that occurs when the phone has got a problem with it's GDFS. Your phone sounds like it's very poorly. You say you've tried a master reset? Can you tell me if that was reset settings or reset all? I had the same error message on my k850i when trying to get into my SMS inbox. A full master reset resolved it.Can I also ask that you remove the memory stick when you try a full reset and don't put it back in until you've tried the phone again?
You cannot get viruses on these phones, so we can safely rule that out.

Hi there i have a problem in my Nokia 6600 when i've tried to read my msgs and also goin to my contacts the screen shows System Error (-25) what should i do

There are times that this system error comes from memory. try to remove it first or replace another memory card and test.

if this problem keeps on showing,just format or reset your phone by doing this Hard Rest;

1. turn off the phone, remove simcard and memory card.then put the battery back
2. long press ( * ) ( 3 ) ( call key ) simultaneously then power it on. (keep holding the three buttons) wait until the formatting message appear (you can now released all buttons) wait until the process is finish and it will restart automatically.

* Be sure battery is in full charge when doing this method
* also back up all important files before doing so.

Good luck...

My answering system will not accept any new messages. It says the mailbox is full. All of the messages have been deleted and it reads 0 messages. What can I do?

delete all kinda old messages...voice messages recorded..sms...if it is a cell phone ...and all that it is keeping memory full...after that it may not be the cause of the messages but a short memory in the phone and you filled it with photos or mp3..or other stuff if it is a cell....this will make space and it will be ok do not have to delete all ..just a few to make some space ...
it is possible that the photos and other media keeps the memory filled and not sms and other messages fact the voice messages and the emails usually are kept on the web ...just media files and sms in the phone memory ...
in the future if the phone accept a memory card get one for the media and leave the phone memory for messages...

In SE Z550i there is no option to move text messages from phone memory to external memory card. The phone comes with 20MBs of onboard memory which is shared by phone's functionalities such as calnder, to do lists, phonebook/contacts, messaging, installed games and applications, etc. The problem that you've mentioned above can occur when you store/install other files such .mp3, photos, games and applications, etc. on your phone's memory instead of the external memory stick. Please check if there are any mp3s, photos, etc. stored on your phone memory and move them to the memory card. In future, try to keep the phone memory as free as possible from mp3s, photos, etc. and please do not install too much of games and applications in the phone memory, instead install them on the external memory. If you have already installed many games and applications in your phone please check if they are installed on your phone memory and if they are please move them to the memory card.
Have a great day!

My LG VX6100 won't accept voice messages

Problem solved! Turns out that my son didn't realize that you have to call your voicemail box and delete voice messages by pressing "7" on the keypad. He thought that when you pressed "erase all" on the text message menu it erased voice mail, too. So the mailbox was full, as it only holds twenty messages. Sometimes the most obvious solution is the solution!

Motorazr V3 Status indicator no longers displays envelope for voice messages

Why am I receiving a memory full notification? space.gif space.gif answer.gif Memory full warning notifications are shown once the SMS memory reaches 80% full, which is 80 out of 100 SMS.
The notifications show up every time on receiving a new message. On reaching 100%, "Memory full notification" message is shown and no new messages will be received until we make space for incoming messages by deleting some from the inbox.
Memory full warning notices are shown only if "Auto Erase Inbox" is set to Off in Messaging settings (Menu -> Settings -> Messaging).
If set to On, then these notices are not shown. By default this is set to Off.

Voice record memory full & screen froze

Are you able to get into the software to purge the voice records?

If not, it sounds like the phone needs to be "reflashed" at an authorized service centre. Take it where you bought it. It should not cost you if it is less than one year old (warranty).

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

Messages say resend all the time in d outbox

This is not a question of your phone's external it says for internal or workable memory of RAM. RAM is for providing room to running application. In your phone RAM is seems stuck and you have to empty it by formatting. For that backup your data and reset your phone by entering code string *#7370# and it will work again properly.
