Question about Compaq Armada 1700 Notebook
The easiest way to remove it is with a loop back.
You can get one from here.
Just make sure you confirm with the seller that it's compatible with your model. There are other ways but the amount of time it takes...it's just smarter getting rid of it this way.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

try booting it normaly and when the login screen comes up hit ctrl alt del and change the user name to administrator with no password sometimes these accounts are left unsecured other than that there is a program called orphcrack that can recover your passwords just find and download the program and burn it to a cd, set your laptop to boot from cd and boot off the new cd once it runs it will revial all your windows passwords, note these solutions are for windows xp if you have a diffrent os please post what os you have
