Question about Washing Machines
We have a Kenmore Elite Washer that appears to be working properly. It spins and drains during the wash and when we take the clothes out the drum is dry. However, lately, we have been finding about a cup of water in the drum the next day when we go to put in a load of wash.
Can't find the answer anywhere. Can you help?
Sounds like your fill valve (hot and cold water hoses connect to it) is not shutting off compeltely. You probably have a slow leak/drip from it. To check it, after you remove your clothes at the end of the cycle, pull open and remove the soap dispenser and watch for a drip or trickle of water. If there is a leak. You will need to replace the valve assembly.
