Why dell inspiron doesn't print single quote/double quote chracter ?

Hi Cani
Assuming that the Keyboard keys are all functioning, I would try changing the current Font to something else to see if this changes the fault. You could also try re starting (Reboot) your machine in Safe mode, to see if the fault disappears....

Lk6400 keyboard doesn't work

Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn itback on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFEMODE. Take the Safe Mode option and let it boot up. Safe Mode will lookdifferent to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this isnormal.Get onlineand got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "AcerSupport" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operatingsystem when requested. Download and install the drivers.

My keyboard needs to be in english instead of french

Sounds like your keyboard has been hijacked. Try booting in safe mode and see if it does the same thing.

Go to www.google.com and in the search box type:"Download cnet Malwarebytes" (without the quotes). Download andinstall malwarebytes from the sites download.cnet/malwarebytes. When thesite opens up click on the Green Download button on the left. Do notclick the Red Download button, that's junk. When it finishes installing the GuiInterface will open up with an offer to Accept a Trial Version orDecline. CLICK DECLINE you want the totally free version. Run aQUICK SCAN. As it scans, if it finds infections the number will be inred. When it finishes scanning, click SHOW RESULTS. A notepad textdocument will open up showing you the results. You can close the textdocument and go back to the Gui Interface where you will click REMOVE SELECTEDRESULTS. The objects will already be selected for you. When itfinishes removing the objects click ok and it will sometimes reboot yourmachine.

My keyboard is typing an è instead of an apostrophy

Microsoft Windows has support for "foreign" keyboards, e.g., French, Swedish.

You've managed to hit left-ALT-SHIFT to switch the "input language" from English to French.

Use "Regional Settings" within "Control Panel" to set it back to English.

try hitting the left alt and the left shift button together, then try it out by pressing shift question mark. I had the exact same problem and i think you can alternate between french and english keys by hitting these two buttons together.
