Question about Apple iPod touch
You could rip the songs into itunes and then connect the ipod touch to your mac/pc and set it up using the wizard and sync the songs onto the touch

You can download manuals from the apple website at http://support.apple.com/manuals/#ipod
Once you have put you your CDs on itunes plug in your ipod and it will appear under devices. When you click on your ipod you can then synch your itunes with your ipod (i.e. put music on)

Reinstall iTunes. That's the easiest way to fix this problem. But don't uninstall it. Just download the latest version from Apple run it and restart your computer.
