My aceraspire4330 wont power on

you can try the power system check by doing the following:

To verify the symptom of the problem, power on the computer using each of the following power sources:
1. Remove the battery pack.
2. Connect the power adapter and check that power is supplied.
3. Disconnect the power adapter and install the charged battery pack; then check that power is supplied by
the battery pack.

If you suspect a power problem, see the appropriate power supply check in the following list:
"Check the Power Adapter"
"Check the Battery Pack"

Check the Power Adapter
Unplug the power adapter cable from the computer and measure the output voltage at the plug of the power
adapter cable. See the following figure
1. If the voltage is not correct, replace the power adapter.
2. If the voltage is within the range, do the following:
* Replace the System board.
* If the voltage is not correct, go to the next step.
NOTE: An audible noise from the power adapter does not always indicate a defect.
3. If the power-on indicator does not light up, check the power cord of the power adapter for correct
continuity and installation.
4. If the operational charge does not work, see "Check the Battery Pack"

Pin 1: +19 to +20.5V (Centre pin)
Pin 2: 0V, Ground (Shielding / Surround)

Check the Battery Pack
To check the battery pack, do the following:
From Software:
1. Check out the Power Management in control Panel
2. In Power Meter, confirm that if the parameters shown in the screen for Current Power Source and Total Battery Power Remaining are correct.
3. Repeat the steps 1 and 2, for both battery and adapter.
4. This helps you identify first the problem is on recharging or discharging.

From Hardware:
1. Power off the computer.
2. Remove the battery pack and measure the voltage between battery terminals 1(+) and 6(ground).
(Terminal 1 is closest to the edge, Terminal 6 is closest to centre)
3. If the voltage is still less than 7.5 Vdc after recharging, replace the battery.

To check the battery charge operation, use a discharged battery pack or a battery pack that has less than 50% of the total power remaining when installed in the computer. If the battery status indicator does not light up, remove the battery pack and let it return to room temperature.

Re-install the battery pack.
If the charge indicator still does not light up, replace the battery pack. If the charge indicator still does not light up, replace the DC/DC charger board.

If I disconnect the positive terminal for 10min. will it reset my computer on my 02 Aztek

You do not need to remove a battery cable for any length of time

Once it is off ,you loss module voltage & all stored codes

The problem is you need to know what else you loose
Every manufacture is different

You may loose the radio & have no code or knowledge
to ever get it working again

You may have to do drive cycles to get the car to shift or idle

Your best to use a code reader to clear malfunction codes

When you replace a battery, have a battery pack on the cables,
so you never loose computer power

To be really safe ,never jump a dead battery

Hook up the battery pack ,remove the cables & then
try to charge the battery by it's self or replace

Clearing codes & making your dash light go away, is
NOT Resetting anything or fixing anything

I am installing a new intermatic timer when I split the wires and put the strip one under a and b what do I do with the left over wire?

Timer is not identified.
You posted under power pack.
ML300, 600 and 900 power packs have three terminals: A B C
Typically the low voltage cable has two wires: Connect wires to A and B terminals, and use C only when installing Intermatic ML series photosensor control.

Have a delcotron alternator ,what to know where no.1 terminal and no.2terminal wire goes it is on my 1946 cj2a jeep my amp hand does not show a charge had alternator checked out and is ok

  • Use a wrench to remove the negative and positive battery cables: They are clearly labeled "+" and "-." Always remove the negative cable first, as this isolates the power to the metal parts of your car. Tuck the cables away from the battery as you don't want them to accidentally touch a battery terminal when you're wiring your alternator.

  • 3

Locate the alternator terminals. There are two: one marked "live," "pos" or "+" and the other marked "neg," "field" or "-."

  • 4

Locate the two cables. The positive (red) cable goes to your battery via a wire loom or harness. The negative (black) cable attaches to a metal part of your car.

  • 5

Check how the cables attach to the alternator terminals. Some connect using eyelets that hook over the terminal and tighten with a bolt; others connect by inserting the wire under the terminal and tightening a bolt.

  • 6

Loosen the two bolts using a suitable-sized wrench or, if the cables connect using eyelets, remove the bolts.

  • 7

Insert the exposed end of the negative (black) cable under the loosened bolt on the negative terminal of the alternator, then tighten the bolt. If the cable has an eyelet, hook it over the terminal and screw the bolt back in place and tighten using a wrench.

  • 8

Insert the exposed end of the positive (red) cable under the loosened bolt on the positive terminal of the alternator, then tighten the bolt. If the cable has an eyelet, hook it over the terminal and screw the bolt back in place and tighten using a wrench.

  • 9

Replace the positive battery cable on the positive battery terminal using a wrench. Replace the negative battery cable on the negative battery terminal.

My problem is with the ML 100T. It feell off its hanger while connected and the two wires fell off the transformer remaining connected to my electrical outlet. I hooked one up to the A terminal and one...

Plug another device into same receptacle and see if GFCI trips again.
If the Power Pack is only thing that trips GFCI, then you need a new Power Pack

If you have Terminal C, it is for photo-electric eye
The wires are reversible on the A and B terminals.

    221abcd.jpg has no troubleshooting section.
The power packs are sealed units, and when they stop working, you buy another.

    Malibu does give some suggestions:
Wattage of power pack has to match total wattage of lights.
    10 - 20 watt bulbs = 200 Watt power pack.
If you put 300 Watt power pack on 200Watts of bulbs, it will burn out bulbs and burn out power pack.
When bulbs burn out, replace them as soon as possible or it will burn out the other bulbs and burn out power pack.
When working on bulbs, unplug power pack or it could burn out power pack.

How do I connect the LV814PR Malibu remote photo control to the ML200RT Power Pack?

To connect the Malibu LV814PR photo control to the Malibu ML200RT:

On the bottom of the power pack you should have 3 terminals: A, B, and C. The trick to understanding how the photo control is connected to the power pack is to understand that the "C" terminal on the power pack is a "dummy" terminal. It is _not_ connected to the transformer in _any_way. It serves the same basic purpose as a wire nut, it's just a connection point.

To avoid confusion following these instructions, disconnect your existing wires from the lights to the power pack. (they should already be under terminals A and B.

    To connect the photo control:

1...Connect the outside solid black wire from the photo control to the "A" terminal on the power pack.

2...Connect the center wire from the photo control to the "B" terminal on the power pack.

3...Connect the red striped wire on the photo control to the "C" terminal on the power pack.

4...Now reconnect the lights, except this time connect one wire from the lights to the "B" terminal (along with the center wire from the photo control) and the other wire from the lights to the "C" terminal (along with the red striped wire from the photo control).

Alternatively, one could not even use the "C" terminal and just connect those 2 wires with a wire nut. Kinda messy, hence, the reason for the "C" terminal.

If you want to have the lights on from dusk to dawn, remove both the red and black trippers and turn the manual switch to ON.

If you want the lights to come on at dusk and OFF at, say, Midnight, put the black tripper at Midnight.

    Enjoy your lights.

Replacing a battery on a 2003 Nissan Sentra

if you have access to a booster pack, hook it up to the battery cable terminals before starting, this will keep power in the car and prevent you from losing your radio memory etc. the battery should be held down by 2 10mm bolts on threaded rods - loosen one, and remove the other and swing the hold down out of the way. loosen and remove battery terminals - first negative, then positive. remove battery. if the there is any corrosion on the cable terminals, clean it off now with a wire brush. put new battery into position. reconnect terminals and tighten - first positive then negative. remove booster pack (if you are using one). reposition battery hold down and tighten nuts - not too tight, just enough to hold the battery steady. if there is a plastic case around the battery, don't forget to put it around the new one. if you have one, and it does not fit the new battery (this is common), don't worry, its not really a necessary item, they typically get thrown away. good luck!

    Amp wont turn on

Sounds like a fuse issue in the power from the amp - the remote circuit could be and probably is completely independent. haven't been able to find confirmation on this, but if you are confident to take the cover off then check (probably)around the area where the power terminals are there may be some fuses. Hope this helps, ask again if not :)
