Most of the time this problem is hard ware related.
Easy way to check is to uninstall the keyboard from the device manager and restart the computer. If the keys still don't work it's probably not software related. In which case you'll need to replace the keyboard.
It's not hard usually just a few screws and re-inserting the cable correctly back into the motherboard.
It's NOT hard. Easiest and cheapest place to get a replacement keyboard is off ebay.
