Question about Belkin (F5D7230-4) Router (587009)
Try to improve the wireless range of your router
1.Position your wireless router in a central location.
Move the router off the floor and away from walls and metal objects. Metal, walls, and floors will interfere with your router's wireless signals. The closer your router is to these obstructions, the worse the interference, and the weaker your signal will be.
2.Change the wireless channel of your router. Sometimes one wireless channel is clearer than others.
a.Open a Web Browser on the computer. In the address bar of the Web Browser type http://192.168.2.1
b.Click Login in the upper right hand corner of the page. The router does not ship with a password, so just click submit
c.Click on Channel and SSID the left hand column under the Wireless heading.
d.Change the wireless channel that your router is broadcasting on.
Note: You don't need to change your computer's configuration, because it'll automatically detect the new channel.
