Question about Cosco Alpha Omega Elite - Hammer Print
I lost my manual and want to switch my 3 in 1 car seat to a booster seat and reinstall. Can you help me please?
We have two of these for our vehicles, Its pretty simple once you do it. THere is one metal bar (rod) underneath the base. You need to bend the plastic tab to the side in order to slide the rod out of the base. Once the rod is removed the base comes free. After removing the 5 point harness straps (and cleaning all the crumbs accumulated from underneath), you're ready to go.
When set in pace in the car, just the seatbelt hold the child in place.
Hope that helps

I had the same issue and tried to view a replacement manual online (it was Sunday night and I had to install the booster prior to the AM) and it wasn't available.
This is my 2nd Alpha Omega and I remembered that it had something to do with the metal bar under the base of the car seat. I used a screw driver and I was able to pry the bar just a bit - enough so that I could get it to slide out of the base. Voila!

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
