1 – Is the NO SIGNAL issue happening on just one TV?
CORRECT INPUT or SOURCE
If it is just one TV that is showing the NO SIGNAL…
-Be sure your TV is on the correct source or input as your CABLE or SAT BOX.
-Press the TV button on TV remote control to turn your TV ON.
-Press the INPUT button on your TV remote control.
-Cycle through all the inputs on your TV.
-Do this until you are on the INPUT your CABLE or SAT BOX is plugged into.
-You should then see the CABLE or SAT programming show on your TV.
HINT: Your TV will most likely list the TV INPUTS as: HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3, VGA, Component 1, Component 2, and so on.
If you still see NO SIGNAL on your TV screen, see the next step below…

2 – If you have your TV on the correct INPUT or SOURCE and you still see NO SIGNAL…
CABLE OR SAT BOX NEEDS RESET
-Remove or unplug the power cable from the Cable TV or SAT set top box.
-Keep it unplugged for 2 to 3 minutes.
-Plug the power cable back into your Cable or SAT set top box.
-Give it some time for the Cable or SAT box to power up, get the signal, and initialize.
If you still see NO SIGNAL on your TV screen, see the next step below…

3 – If you have reset the Cable or SAT box and still have the NO SIGNAL…
UNPLUG THE CABLE GOING FROM THE TV TO YOUR CABLE OR SAT BOX
-Remove the HDMI cable or other cables from your Cable TV or SAT set top box.
-Keep the cable unplugged for 2 to 3 minutes.
-Plug the HDMI cable or other cables back in.
-Give it some time for the Cable or SAT box to get the signal and initialize.
HINT: Make sure all the cables that are connected to your Cable or SAT box and your TV are tight, undamaged, and secured.

4 – If all of your TVs are affected with the NO SIGNAL screen…
BE SURE THE COAX CABLES OR ETHERNET CABLES ARE SECURE or CABLE OR SAT IS DOWN TEMPORARILY
-Be sure to check the ones where the CABLE or SAT come into your home.
-Be sure ALL Ethernet and Coax cables are secure.
-Call your CABLE or SAT provider to see if there is an outage.
-Realign your Dish if you have SATELLITE.

Can't pause or forward


How long has this been going on? has it been this way since the initial programming or all the sudden? If its been since the initial programming, then you need to go back into the programming using your PC, and adjust the buttons manually by finding them under the device selection and then selecting "change buttons". If the buttons were working and recently stopped, then replace the remote.

The channel guide only shows no information available most of the time

You are getting that message because the receiver is not updating the Electronic Program Guide (EPG). Try unplugging the receiver from your electrical outlet for about 10 seconds (make sure all lights on receiver go out) and plug back in. This will cause the receiver to reboot and re-acquire satellite signal. Allow it also to download the program guide. After you get your channel back, pull up your guide, go into the future to see if it updated.

If it did not update, you'll need to run a check switch test. Press Menu on your DISH remote; should have Main Menu on TV screen. Press 6 (System Setup), 1 (Installation), and 1(Point Dish). Highlight the CHECK SWITCH button on the upper right of the screen and press the Select button on remote. On the Installation Summary screen, highlight the TEST button at the bottom of screen and press the Select button on the remote. This will initiate the test. Allow the test to complete. Once completed, exit out of each screen till you get to Acquiring Satellite Signal on TV screen. After acquisition completion, allow it to download the program guide. If this doesn't fix the problem, you may need a new receiver. I hope this helps.

Do connection to the antena if you wants to set the TV auto tuned.
During this initial setup, you can perform the following:

1 Select the language for the on-screen display text.
2 Select HOME or Retail mode. [Here you have to select "Home" mode if the set displays "Retail"

3 Connect cable or antenna, then select OK to run Auto
Program

• If you have cable and antenna available, please connect cable first.

• IMPORTANT: Auto Program is only effective when cable or

antenna is connected. If you cancel Auto Program before completion some channels may not be
available.

4 Auto Program will scan for available channels from the signal source directly connected to

the TV's CABLE/ANTENNA input and may take sometime to complete the process. Follow
the help text provided on the screen to run Auto Program.

Can not see the maps, stuck at home screen


If you had just started the device, you may have to wait a minute or so for the software (programs) to load, initialize, etc. before you start getting the user screens. Just make sure you are plugged in, or the battery is not low. When the programs start and after the GPS (satellite) signals are located, you'll be able to see your current location, etc. (and start using the device).

Touch screen won't respond / hard to program


Hi

Try to run the Touch Screen Test(by going into Diagnostics) this will check that the touch screen is calibrated and accurate. If it still doesnt work then go to Initialize GPS this will Reset the unit and will reacquire the satellite signal.

Note: Previously saved satellite data will be reset and reacquiring the satellite signal may take 15 minutes or more.

No picture or sound but get channel and clock on screen display


Hi,

Initially, suspect would be your audio/video sources such as the DVD, Home Theater, Cable box, Satellite Receiver. Pls check the cables/wirings or how they are attached to the PTV. If the PTV is connected directly to a cable provider with the this issue, then it is either your cable provider's signal is not reaching you or the PTV's tuner section needs to be looked up.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

That means you have to activate it. somehow it got deactivated. i would call verizon and have them reactivate it.
