Creative Zen V Plus Bookmarks

A little known feature on this player is the ability to use bookmarks, up to 10 of them. Many of you listen to podcasts or audio books which may be fairly lengthy and if you have to stop in the middle of what ever you're listening to, normally when you go back to your player you would have to start all over again.<br /><br />A note about <span style="font-style: italic;">"resuming playback":</span> If you shutdown during playback of a podcast or audio book (not pausing or stopping playback first) your Zen will automatically resume playback when you start it back up.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Zen V Plus Bookmarking</span><br /><br />You can insert bookmarks during playback. A bookmark helps you mark a point within a track, so you can return to it at a later time.<br /><br />You can use up to 10 bookmarks at any one time.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">To insert a bookmark:</span><br /> <ol> <li>In the Now Playing screen, press the Options button and select Set Bookmark .</li> <li>For ZEN V Plus, you will need to press and <span style="text-decoration: underline;">hold</span> the Options button. How to reset when there is no reset button?

Hey dude,

Use a needle or fine wire in the reset slot on the left side of the machine (beneath on switch.

Turn the player on whilst holding down the 'play button'. This should let you rebuild the library.

I hope this wld do wonders :)

Zen V plus can't detect by the computer & all the data base losts

Suggestion: uninstall the failed portable device in Device Manager.
Note: You should already have the application for your portable device installed on your computer before continuing.
1. Go to Device Manager and make sure that your portable device is not reporting any problem. If it is, uninstall it.
2. Reconnect your portable device. The computer should detect it now.

Player Rebuilding/not displaying songs/ etc.

Sounds like you'll need to have it serviced, as you've already tried the firmware and clean up, and thats really all that you can do. If you scroll down on this page there is a box "Repair Service." Type in your zip code and bunch of repair companies come up. Just browse their sites for services and pricing.
