Question about RIM BlackBerry Bold 9000 Smartphone
If you do not have any Blackberry data plan with your carrier then you cannot use the applications on the blackberry which requires internet.
If your service provider said that you can connect to WIFI internet at your home or at any hotspot then:
Go to options > Advanced > Browser, set your browser to HotSpot browser.
With Wifi, you don't need a data plan to connect the browser.
IF the above doesnot fix the issue then:
Do a soft reset by leaving the phone on, pull the battery and replace. It takes a couple of minutes to reboot and finlly clear all of your browser caches.
This should fix the issue.
IF you have a data plan with your carrier then you will have to contact them and only they can help you fix this issue as they will provide you with ip address to manually setup the internet.
Thank You for using fixya.
