I think that the "20GB" is the capacity of your disk-drive.

So, a new disk-drive will be at least 80GB (it's difficult to find "new" disk-drives smaller than that), and it should spin at 7200 RPM (your current disk-drive probably spins at 3/4 of that speed: 5400 RPM, or maybe even only 4200 RPM).

So:
1. find the original CD-ROM set of "System Restore" or "Product Recovery" disks.
2. backup all your data files (USB flash-drive, or CD-writable, or DVD-writable) -- the "Windows File and Settings Transfer Wizard" is useful.
3. find all "product-keys" for purchased software (MS Office, Dreamweaver, anti-virus software, et cetera)
4. turn your computer off
5. remove the old disk drive
6. connect the new disk drive
7. re-install Windows, using that set of CD-ROMs.
8. Run Windows Update http://WindowsUpdate.microsoft.com
a few times, to get all the security-patches -- this could take a while!
9. Re-install the anti-virus software
10. Re-install the purchased software.
11. Reload your data from "backup".
12. Run the Windows Disk Defragmenter tool.

Enjoy the "fresh" computer and the faster/bigger disk-drive.

Toshiba Satellite C655D-S5084 CPU upgrade

It is possible but usually not worth the hassle.
Changing to another CPU chip that fits your motherboard may only show a 3-10% performance change.

See videos of CPU replacement in laptops like yours:

or

In general, you are better off adding more RAM (memory) or replacing the hard drive with a faster SSD (Solid State Drive) to make a laptop "fly". Your laptop can hold a max of 8 GB RAM:

http://www.crucial.com/upgrade/Toshiba-memory/Satellite+C655+Series/Satellite+C655D-S5084-upgrades.html

In MOST laptops, slower 5400 RPM drives are used, and this is the main performance bottleneck. A 7200 RPM drive or (better yet) a SSD drive will help matters, as will more RAM (the most cost-effective speed increase).

I nned to increase the possibilities of grafic card for working with programs that have image treatment and others and need a better grafic card

In your case, you can upgrade your system ram or memory bu not the graphic card.Upgrading your system ram or memory will boost your application loading and performance. Example your memory right is 1GB so make it 3GB by purchasing a 2GB ram. You will see the difference but do not expect to for the graphics just for faster loading and better performance can only give your memory. Have a nice day.

NEED A STEP BY STEP GUIDE ON UPGRADING

Upgrading the computer to the faster CPU, memory, hard disk, can be possible. First find out the motherboard supports higher CPU already , then find the right CPU for the upgrade,. Maximum memory that can be added in the comuter and type of memory supported by the motherboard. If you need more capacity for Hard disk get high capacity harddisk that the computer support. More important is make sure that the upgrade doesn't require to buy new operating system. Most upgrades are not cheper than purchasing new system considering all above needs. If you require to upgrade to more and latest system than it is better to buy a new system including operating system. The operating system may not support considerable difference in the computer system for upgrades.

Which processor can I upgrade to?

Honestly, it is normally not worth it to upgrade the cpu on a laptop. Laptops are build to deal with a certain amount of heat and adding a faster cpu can cause the current cpu cooling fans to not get the job done anymore. You will seem instability in your system and could possibly damage it due to over heating.

With that said you would only be able to upgrade to a very slightly higher speed cpu and your money would be better spent else where. Some good ways to speed up a laptop are max out your memory or install a faster hard drive. For example if your current drive is a stock 5400rpm unit a 7200rpm drive would give you a nice boost. You could also look into a solid state option.

Both these upgrades will give your laptop a better boost without the hassle and risk of a cpu upgrade.

I want to upgrade the memory card of my Canon PowerShot A570is. What memory card should I buy? The last that I had was a SanDisk 1.0 GB.

The camera supports SDHC memory cards, so any SDHC card should work.  If you shoot video the cards with the faster write speeds are better.  The SanDisk 4GB or 8GB cards should work well.

I want to upgrade my procesor to faster procesor.

Upgrading processor is not likely a practical solution; find out the motherboard manufacturer and contact their site for more information. As to upgrading the motherboard, you'll have to know what kind/size of board your system will require. If you don't have lots of experience, this process is very risky.

Frankly, the cheapest way to upgrade your computer is to buy a used and working product with Windows XP already installed. Go to http://craigslist.com, select your city, and search for a brand name you trust. I've bought DOZENS of used computers very cheap that way (I'm writing this on a $2,200 Dell Latitude D620 I bought fiv months old for $500, who needed the cash!)

Evo d3d upgrade!?

In the older days it was easier to tell you right away which processor would fit as there was not much variance in slot configuration. The Pentium 4 was released in several slot (sometimes called socket or pin-array configurations)configurations. The easiest way to tell is to remove your processor. Where it plugs into the slot (socket) you will see marked on the slot holder the configuration (Should say something like Socket 775 or Socket 478). Once you know what will fit in there you can go about ordering your upgraded processor. I would do some more information digging to see if your motherboard can handle the upgrade and how much memory it can handle. Have you already upgraded the memory? Sometimes more memory can make your computer faster. Also do you want it to be faster because it has gotten slower or because you want to run better games? If it has just gotten slower then go to CNET's download.com and download some Malware removal tools to help get your system cleaned up.
Let me know if this helps. This is a starting point.
