SOURCE: stressing out!!
Alba TVs are manufactured in Albainia and the service info is next to impssible to obtain. I would try to troublehoot the deflection circuits. Possibly horizontal output or one of the regulators.

SOURCE: I have a minolta Dimage
I also have a minolta dimage z3 and this camera is power hungry all the time . does the lenscover come open ? when not put in fresh batteries and try again if this doesn't help i suggest you take it to a repairshop and ask them if they will investigate what's wrong and call you with the costs of the reapir would be ..
since you bought this camera a long time ago prices of digital camera's have dropped very hard so you could decide to buy a new one (if the costs are to high for you)
