Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

The charging light does not stay when charging Phillips portable DVD player DCP850/37 is charging. Plays fine when plugged in but when I unplug it won't turn, please help. I have 2 of them.

You might have to get another battery for it. Just look on ebay or amazon for one. And if you DON'T like to use your credit card online just get a pre-paid visa card from most post offices.

Where can I find the battery pack on my Philips DCP850/37 patpal60@aol.com

The crappy part of this device is that it has a internal sealed battery..I stumbled here looking for a replacement battery..It's not all that difficult to disassemble if careful..There are two screws hidden under black caps on opposite side of the hinge area on the top towards the screen and the rest is fairly simple once inside...Three plugs and a ground connection..If i find a battery that is suited for the DCP 850/37 ill post it here..

How do you change the region code to europe on a philips DCP850/37 portable dvd player. I have done in once but its now saying wrong region and i cant remember how to do it. Please help

its quite easy actually

1.) Press setup

2.) select preferences to go to the preferences page

3.) enter 9 6 5 3

4) select your region

personally I set my players to 0 meaning region free ,, this means that it can player any movie from anywhere without having to setup region any more. Region free players are the best. I'd suggest you set yours to 0 as well therefore you will never have to set up your region again and u can play anything.

good luck.
