THIS UNIT IS A BRYANT GAS PAK, MODEL# 582ANW030060AAAD, SERIAL # 3500G14267. WHEN THE THERMOSTAT CALLS FOR HEAT, NORMALLY THE FIRST THING THAT SHOULD HAPPEN IS THE DRAFT INDUCTION FAN MOTOR SHOULD START. IT SIMPLY HUMS, WHILE THE BOARD IS FLASHING A SERIES OF SIX FLASHES EVERY THREE SECONDS.

    Hello there again:
can you tell me if the codes that are flashing have any numbers or letters on them
cause if the inducton motor is just humming it may be either not getting enough electric impulse
from a diode or circuit on the controle panel board like a start relay or like you said the motor itself may be bad or has got a lot of dirt and debris around it and it could be stuck ok
    best regards MIchael

Furnace will not ignite.

I think you are talking about draft induction pressure switch operation. Make sure the metal orifice located on the draft induction blower is clear. To check, remove the rubber tubing end at the pressure switch and blow into the tubing. It should be easy to blow through it. If it is plugged, remove the tubing from the blower orfice and use a paperclip, inserting it into the orfice to clear the opening. After repairing, and all is hooked up, retry the furnace start up procedure. If the code comes up again, replace the pressure switch.

Unit will not lite

Look on the circuit board, is ther a flashing diagnostic code?

tell me this code sequence.
Typically an induced draft motor will be the first thing to run, is this running? is the pressure switch for the induced draft operating, it its tubing and the tubings ports clear?
is the condensate line clear?

is the flame sensor clean? use 0000 steel wool to wipe it off.

Hello, check to see if you are getting a 120 volts at the motor, if no voltage then the control board is bad. Make sure tje door switch is taped down when checking. Also, check for 24 volts on a call for heat at the w and c terminals on the control board, if you have voltage but but motor does not run also indicates a bad board

i can tell you the operation and maybe that will help you out...
the unit should start off with the enducer draft motor small motor in furnace that pulls all the stale air out..then the negative pressure switch activates which should have a hose coming from the enducer draft moto to the pressure switch..once the pressure switch closes it sends power to the ignitor and the ignitor should glow once it gets hot a milivolt current is sent back to the gas valve and it opens up and fires...after it fires you should have a flame sensor small metal rod in the direct path of flame that keep sensing the flame and sends signal back to board.... unplug unit and watch it start where is it failing or in what part of the operation does it flash a code....

it may be clogged at the barbed fitting on the induced draft motor where the pressuer switch tubing connects. take a paper clip and **** it out make sure you can stick it thru freely till you can feel the Inducer wheel then reconnect and try again.

Induction Motor continues to run.

pull the rubber hose off the pressure switch. and blow into the Induced draft motor housing if you cant you can pull the hose off the IDM and try to clear it with a small paper clip. reconnect and try again. you can also get the flash code off the board while the unit is running but not working.
