Question about Motorola Mobility Bluetooth Headset-Silver/Black Headset

Motorola H700C Pairing with LG VX8700

I had these two paired for several months, and a few days ago, they quit pairing. I uninstalled the H700C from the phone in an attempt to allow it to re-pair.

I can get the headset into pairing mode (purple) with the boom open, but the phone can no longer find it.

I did notice when I tried pairing last night, my phone kept finding someone's computer, so I've tried pairing at work (I recently got a new neighbor upstairs who's computer must be BT enabled and my phone is trying to connect to it).

I've tried pairing at work, where there are no BT computers, but the phone keeps saying it can't find the BT device. Any suggestions?

You just described my exact problem, except the computer piece. Any luck? I cannot get my phone to find my H700C now after several months of flawless use. I wonder if the cold weather got to my earpiece after leaving it in the car one night.

This is my problem as well. I'm also located in cold weather, and have left it in the car, I never thought about it being related though. The one thing I have noticed is that the purple (pairing mode) light does not remain lit for more than a couple of seconds. Anyone found a solution to this problem? Thank you.

I have the exact same problem - cant get it to go into pairing mode most of the time or if it does it goes into pairing mode for about a second then drops out. I have found that if I plug in the H700C, unplug it then immediately try to put it in pairing mode it may work and stay there. My phone can then see the device and asks for a passcode, but a message comes up that says "waiting for Motorola H700" which never resolves itself.

I am having the exact issue paired to a Blackberry 8800 for one month. I am returning this and am told I will received a H710C which should not have the same issue. Will see.... P.S. When I hold the unit by the side firmly it seems to woo

work. Seems like a micro switch issue.

My LG VX8700 will no longer pair with any bluetooth device - always says that no devices are found. Paired just fine with my Jawbone headset for months and then one day quit working. Can't find any other headsets either, so that leads me to believe it's the phone and not the headsets.

Lg lotus does not locate plantronics 925. have been using motorola h700 with no issues. have turned off phone and 925 and retried several times. lotus does not see any other devices.

Once you make your LG Lotus discoverable, then put the Plantronics Discovery 925 into pairing mode by holding the call control button until the headset flashes red and blue. Here is the link below for the Discovery 925 pairing instructions.

How do I connect my H700C?

usually it's pretty simple, you have to turn the h700c on, usually it's by holding the button for few second untill you get the blue light on permanent for a few seconds, now go to your phone and look for the blutooth settings, now you should have an option find other devices. after your phone found the headset you'll have an option "connect" or "pair" or somthing from that kind.

And that's it

Hope this helps
