Why won't my 130BT blower start? the unit won't start replaced the plug, dumped the fuel added 50:1 gasoline still nothing? Sprayed starter fluid in carb still nothing.

I had that same problem. I have not tried fixing lately. Take apart the carburetor and spray it and brush with carb-cleaner. You can try cleaning the fuel filter in the gas tank. Fish it out with your finger or a piece of metal wire. Take it apart and clean it with gasoline, also clean the air filter with soap and water and let it dry. If it still does not start, clean the muffler, where it emits the burnt co2, carbon builds up there over time (there is also a screen there where you can see the brown/black carbon). Try cleaning w the Carburetor cleaner spray and a toothbrush, wire brush or thin flat-head screwdriver and let dry. If that doesn't work, maybe you need to replace the whole muffler part. I think that is what I might do. I'm not using so haven't got around to fixing it. Hope it helps if not maybe a professional can help. Good luck...

My car ran out of gas, now it will not start

If high miles, it may be a fuel pump. Fuel pumps usually go when gasoline is low and pump gets too warm. This may mimic running out of gas when there is a gallon or two of gas still left to draw but needle reads empty. Have someone put their ear to the gas tank while you turn on the ignition switch. the pump should run for 2-10 seconds with key on and not cranking.

If you don't hear the pump run, then investigate further for a failed pump.

I was driving and i felt the car pull back (like cuting out) and then the car turn off while driving...the car still has gasoline; I tried to start it again but it won't start it only cranks but like i...

After you have tried to start the car for a while, remove a spark plug and examine it. If the tip of the plug is not moist with gasoline, then the fuel delivery system probably is the problem, possibly a bad fuel pump, stopped up fuel line, or water in the gasoline. If there appears to be some gasoline on the plug, put the rubber boot back on it and hold the base of the plug against metal on the motor or frame while someone turns the key into the start position while you watch the electrodes of the plug. If you don't see a spark in thirty seconds, that is the problem. It could be that the coil has gone bad or there is some other problem in the ignition system.

Dodge Ram 2500 gasoline V8. I ran it bone dry and

You will have to turn the ignition key on and off, several times. The fuel pump should cut in for a couple of seconds, and then out again, and you should be able to hear it doing this. If you can't hear it, you will have to check fuses and relays, and hope the pump hasn't burnt out.

2000 chevy silverado ran out of gas completely. we put in 5 gallons but the truck will not start. is there a reset button?

Can you hear the fuel pump run when you initially turn the key to on, I think they only run for about 5 seconds if the engine doesn't start immediately.
I think you have a fuel line full of air, but there is the chance you may have damaged the pump, because these are cooled by the fuel running thru them.

Don't know how deep you want to get, but there is a "shrader valve" on the fuel rail on the front right side (looks like a tire valve stem cap). Should be under the VORTEC shroud. You could hold this open, (like letting air out of a tire) while someone turned your ignition to on until fuel comes out. Once you see fuel, cranking it normally should be able to start the truck after one or two tries.
That should bleed the air out of the line quickly. Be very careful as you are dealing with flammible gasoline. Hold a rag over it so you don't get sprayed.
A fire extinguisher nearby would not hurt.

1997 GMC K1500 4x4 5.7 SFI injection system

fuel pump died replaced it truck ran poorly afterwards. Had a prussuer test done pump determend pump was no good. Put in another ran good for 2 days started running poorly hard to start no power. 2nd fuel pump. So i figure another bad new fuel pump wow changed it put in a third brand new fuel pump. Still will not eve start now. I had it tuned up 2 months ago new plugs rotor, cap, etc. put in a new fuel filter made sure it is on proper checked all connections for leaks. this cannot be a fuel pump problem now. no problem with the elctrical i figure i have great spark on ignition tester. I can hear the fuel pump prime when i turn the key. but when i went and checked the fuel port i had no pressure. When it is being cranked gas sews out of the test port. Also i dont if this is comon cause i used to turn my keyand go. but when i have someone turn the key and i listen at the gas tank whn the key is shut off i hear gs spraying back into the gas tank. So i am open for opinions.
