OK I believe you have a slow leak in the water control valve for the ice maker and possibly frozen the end of the fill tube causing the water to go other places. Sea Breeze

Here is what an Amana Fill Tube looks like when it has a slow leak. You can defrost it for now with a hair dryer but to stop the leaking we will need to replace the water control valve and would not hurt to pre-filter the water to the refrigerator. Be back soon. Sea Breeze

The valve can leak because of sediment in the water preventing it from closing or low water pressure
. Disconnect the ice maker line from the water inlet valve valve(on the back where the water supply connects). and watch to see if it has a slow drip.

Icemaking is ok but I find water at the bottom of the frige .What seems to be the Problem tHIS A ULINE BAR REFIRERATOE WITH iCE MAKER

Your feed line may have a leak in the line itself or in one of the connectors. This it the line that sends water to the automatic ice-maker. Check the line coming from the wall to the ice-maker connector and slide your hand down the line. You will find water somewhere along this line and you have found your leak. This should be very easy to fix.

THE ICE MAKER IS NOT MAKING ICE.

Once again, good day.
There are many reasons an ice maker fails to produce.
First it is important that the freezer is at it's normal temperature because the ice maker, by design will lock out when the freezer goes above approx. 10 degrees. Just follow the instructions.
It wil get you there.

First step is to take a small paper cup of water and fill the cavity until it is near full. With the ice maker turned on, close freezer door and wait 3 hours to see if it harvests. If not, the ice maker is bad, and must be replaced. If the cubes harvest then.......
Three possibilities.
1. The water supply from the house is not delivering water to the water valve. Shut off the house at the meter, disconnect the line going to the water valve, and with the line pointed into a bucket, have someone turn the valve back on for a 15 second count. The water should come out smartly. If not, the line and it's fittings will have to be replaced.
2. The fill tube from the back of the machine that feeds water into the back of the ice maker is frozen up. You will have to remove the ice maker to visually inspect that tube. If blocked, it needs to be defrosted, but use caution. Too much heat too fast will start to melt plastic and vinyl parts you don't want melted.
If this is the case, then once cleaned out, you will have to change the water valve located in the back bottom rear of the machine because it is leaking during the off cycle.
3. If everything checks O.K. up to this point, you will have to purchase and install a new water valve, and install it.
P.S. Under very rare occasions the electric circuity in the ice maker will fail to send a signal to the water valve. Although rare, it can happen, in which case the best option is to replace the ice maker and water valve.

The freezer unit will not produce ice. With the arm up, water drains into the ice pan.

Best approach is to follow a step by step procedure, which I've included. However, if it's turned off and water is still feeding, then the first step is to replace the valve on the bottom rear of the machine.
Then......

Ice maker is not making ice yet I can still get water from the door.No water is going to the icemaker. How can I fix the problem

Good day,
There are a lot of reasons causing a no ice problem. If you have a water filter it should be changed unless it has been done in the last 90 days.
The best way is a step by step process. It will get you there.

Kscs25fkss00 superba - water not flowing to icemaker but water dispenser works - there is not ice blocking line/tray

Most times that is caused by the dual water control valve on rear of the refrigerator. You can test the ice maker by filling with water and letting it freeze. If the ice drops then the valve is the problem. If the ice does not drop then the ice maker is were the problem is, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Ice maker not making ice

1)First check you have a water line that is getting water to the ice maker.

2)Ice makers have a valve at the bottom that open and close when told by the ice maker replace that cheap fix.

3)The ice maker needs to be repaced.
(how far into the line will the water freezehow far into the line will the water freeze)
.The valve at the back opens and closes will not leave water in the line to freeze.

Kitchen aid superba fridge - ice maker not working .. water dispencer is

The refrigerator has a duel water valve, one for the ice-maker and one for the water dispenser (if equipped). The valve that the ice-maker relies on may be bad, or it could be the ice-maker itself.
Another thing that could cause it would be the temperatures in the freezer. The ice-maker will not call for water until it reaches under 15 degrees. In addition, check the water tube behind the ice-maker to make sure it is not frozen, blocking more water from entering. The water does not go to the ice-maker or thru the filter unless the ice-maker turns on the water valve.
