Question about Acer Aspire 5050-3242 Notebook
i really really dislike listening to music on laptop speakers and so i tried plugging in some external ones. there's sound coming from them but it's extremely low and extremely echo-y. at first i thought the speakers were fried so i got some other one and... same thing. what could be the problem? i checked the audio levels and everything but it all looks pretty normal. i don't know what else could it be.
appreciate any help!
I know it's an old problem. But it's the audio driver settings. There's an icon in the system tray. Open it and turn off the effects. Or uninstall it altogether. Makes it much louder.

Do the speakers sound OK if they are plugged into an MP3 player or CD player?
