Karen,

What I can tell you is that the buffering speed is due to the internet speed you are using. If you are using a community access point then the bandwith is limited and this could be why it is taking so long to buffer. But if you are not using a public access point then the only real way that you can get quicker speeds for youtube is going to be upgrading your internet. Hope this helps. SOURCE: youtube videos

For smooth watching of YouTube Videos take following actions:
1. Watch videos at off peak times, if possible
2. Do not run other programs while watching videos. They slow down computer in general by making use of memory.
3. Add RAM on your computer. More RAM will make easy execution of heavy programs on your system.
4. Get better and speedy internet connection. Talk to your ISP in this regard.
5. Regularly clean windows registry. Windows registry is vital place that stores information for important computing functions. A congested or corrupted windows registry makes computer slow that causes YouTube like freezes. For this, get the best registry cleaner and optimizer. Use it once in a fortnight for fast computing to avoid YouTube freezes and system slow down.Download reginout intel partner

You tube stops and starts while playing. what can i do?

All you have to do is pause the video because it will then continue to buffer. Once it has fully buffered just click play and i can 100% promise you that it will be working and it will not pause to buffer any more during that video. But as i said depending on speed of connection and size+length of the video file this could either be a quick job or a slow boring patience testing job. i hope this was helpful

Buffering continues to interrupt a u-tube vider

Your Internet connection is too slow to "download" and "display" the content in real-time.

So, when you start to play a video, press PAUSE, and let the download proceed for a while, i.e,. about 50% of the progress-bar. Then, press PLAY, to play that "buffered" content, while the remaining 50% downloads.

You tube videos start and stop

The videos need some time to buffer/load.

This is indicated by the pale red line that is usually in front of the play bar which is the darker red bar.

Pause the video for around a minute for the video to buffer.
Then push play button.

You may need to set the detail down to 240p to increase the speed at which it loads.

I just bought this laptop yesterday, and ever since then every time i play download a movie or watch a video on you tube it stops and plays, stops and plays. what do i do?

Hello

OK, this does not have any thing to do with your laptop itself. This is actually due to your internet connection. The videos will stop an play if they are buffered far enough, hence, if the video plays faster than it can buffer, it will stop until is is buffered far enough.

The solution for this problem can be to upgrade your internet connection.

Hope this can be of help, if this was nor what you were looking for, let me know so we can try something else.

Kind regards
Andrea

I have toshiba satellite L500D. I cant download any movies or tv shows and when i watch tv from yahoo 7 it stops and starts as does Youtube....PLEASE HELP!!

When downloading videos from sites such as You Tube, the download is known as "streaming video". It fills the buffers on your machine and then displays it on your screen. If your connection is not fast enough, the buffers will empty before the data stream can re-fill them. This produces the stop start situation. The best way to overcome this is to do something else while the video plays, then come back when it's finished and replay it...it will now play ok.
If your connection is slow, then it's likey its timing out during the download of movies or TV shows, stopping the data flow.

Video and Audio Freeze

Sounds like a slow internet connection. Try pausing the video until it has buffered at least halfway and then play again.

Hope this helps,

erch.
